PAM 380 vs 388

I bought mine from Toro Bravo at the beginning of 2013.... so it must be the cheaper one.

I see there are 2 reps of the 380.
There is a lot of price difference.
Are they both the same? I can't spot differences except the strap.

Main difference is in the movement. The newer and more expensive one is using the correct OP II movement (based on the Unitas 6497). The older and cheaper version is using a A6497 (based on the ETA 6497). Both manual wind movements and technically not critical as the caseback is not a display type. If you're strapped for cash, I would suggest getting the more affordable version. If you're OC and even if nobody else knows, you know, then it's up to you if the added cost is worth your peace of mind.
