there apparently are 2 versions to the 366.. with & without patina lume..

not too sure whether or not this is a fact tho..mayb the more experienced members with GENs can chime in.?

nope, it is not true chrome, it is the patina lume, with milk tea colr, the only difference the the consistency of the lume mixture. but it should look quite indistinguisable with the naked eye

Should we expect the same tone of patina on the rep Pam 367? Almost pulled the trigger on that one if not for the low beat movt. Rep Pam 366 now comes with high beat. Strap looks good on the rep 366 too.

yea,, wait for the noob version 100% the difference on the gen and the H-fact is probably around 000,12 % so if the Noob version is 0,0001% more accurate, well then it is a total no brainer :lol:

i dunno im not a nut about the minutiae. with the pams if the crown is thick, the crystal ar'd swiss made isnt screwed up. im cool. when you have offset subdials slow beat movt aith large seconds, ss bracelet with major issues at the screw or links, crap pvd, dusty rubber strap. those things bug me. pams change on the gen 1mm in the cg. and. pam nuts pay thousands for this new variation. doesnt make sense to me. they arent design refinements or creative changez, they just shit on a different part. of the floor and call it art. its not like all of a sudden you see the face of Jesus or mary in the new reflections. now that would be woeth it

i do like how the lume sits at the dial on the gen. i also like the yellow.-er color, its different. i want a lefty, too im putting that off for this? i think my ultimate pam wants will be. complete. a lefty fu would save me a few bucks

It is more aqua then the superlume reps are using.

FYI, pams are not using pure C1 +C3 green lume. It is actually C1+C3 + C3 Aqua lume.

The purpose is very simple, green lume is brighter but aqua lume last longer, by mixing the both, you get the properties of brightness and duration.

You lose a bit here and there, but the gains are worth it for panerai.

I have roughly worked out the formula for the pam mixtures... hehe
