This morning what a surprise : the postman gave me a little parcel and inside : The Pam359M from Puretime.

I pre-ordered this one on march 3rd when it was still on a project and it was sent by Angus on 16th April and arrived on the 20th ... only 4 days from China to France... Amazing ...

and the best of course is the Pam359M ... See pictures ...

One regret : Lume is weak and it does need a good AR so I'll send for the job to my favorit modder : fine-dd.

Globaly watch is very nice and leather strap confortable with nice stich same color of the number and the hands.

just enjoy (the crapy phone) picts :) (I'll do some better this week end )

Sad to hear that with the lume.
They tried with the movement, though.

very nice.. the factories are really starting to nail the build production of these pams.
I followed this build from the beginning with all the QC's from angus and all the input he was asking from members and i must say i was very impressed with the whole process.

congrats, its a beauty

I've got mine too.. ordered on Friday, received it this morning.

crown guard really loose and it really needs AR to be done..it reflects everysingle light source.

overall it's a very nice watch... Thanks to Puretime.

Seems like this is a very special watch as it was made at the request of forum members and with their input... a first I hear... that alone (i.e. its history within the forums) may make it worth buying...

Someone did a comparison of the dials and it was found that the numerals on this one is a tad too close to the edge/bezel of the watch... that is what is holding me back....

Did anyone take any stock lume shots before they sent it out for modding? Curious to see how "bad" it really is...I think we're used to C1+C3 and getting spoiled as a result.

Looks fantastic, and to be fair you can get a decent lume and double AR for it for a fair price. This PAM is really growing on me and will probably be my next purchase.

I'll try to take the lume shots sometime today, it's actually really bad.

If one Googles (images) Panerai 359M - you will find dozens of photos of this watch to compare with the rep. Would be nice if a person had a gen and a rep side by side - but looking at all these photos - looks like Puretime did a pretty good job. Mine is still on its way.
Here is just one location for a gen

http://www.chrono24.com/en/panerai/...0--id1683342.htm?id=1683342&picnum=0&tab=pics

I think we have to remember the gen costs $7K US and the rep is $............. Can't gripe too much. Cheers JTBear

+1 to wobbler : the price for double AR is 85€ + another 60€ for the lume (price from Fine-dd) + 20€ for shipping to Germany and back so that 170 euros for a great watch.

As soon as I can I 'll send it to Uwe.

Tipz,
how much "Charge" did you give the Lume, and how much exposure in the shot?
just curious... this watch is growing on me daily. I'm starting to want one even though the dial looked to "busy" for a non Chrono Pam initially to me.

put on the light source for 1 minute, it wasn't on long exposure.

i'm a bit on the fence with this one although I love the gen. As for the AR better none than the horrible blue tinted AR.

Puretime website says this about the AR

"scratch-proof sapphire crystal with colorless anti-reflective coating inside (same as genuine)"

could this be wrong? Also, I asked Angus about the lume when I pre-ordered mine and he said that it was difficult to do because of the colour.
