I have not taken this as sth. against my servic Fred.
I met some problems with my watch immediately upon receipt.
Parcel was signed October 13th by yourself and I got your problem reported October 20th.
I know the problem you said that might happen to other members and it is easy to handle if it is only the problem of the lugs.
But the problem is that caseset is taken apart and it is not rescuable after checking with the maker.
So I cannot provide more help to you about this matter.
Please stop taking everything I say like it's directed against you, it's really getting old...
This has nothing to do with you, this is a problem with the watch.
The lug issue and the caseset issues are related. Proof is that when the lug screws are out, the ceramic and steel cases are aligned. And this have nothing to do with taking the watch apart, the issue was there before I even touch the watch.
If the factory never faced that problem, then why is there another member who contacted me just today with the exact same problem on his 292k...?
About the crystal, I said the cost fo the repair would be on me, don't worry you won't have to spend your precious money...
I browsed the forum just now and saw this thread so I replied since the buyer got the watch from me. I have no idea about what has happened to the watch
after the buyer shipped it to you. There is nothing I meant to reply you about this matter Wiz. Do not misunderstand it please.
The cearmic case should stay together with the steel case when the screws are taken out, since that is how the watch likes from the maker. Problem is the two parts are seperated from each other when the buyer showed it to me after all parts of the watch were taken apart by himself. I just replied here to let the buyer know there is no repair for this matter from the maker. Not mean to say anything against you neither.
Maybe you should make a public announcement about the maker not taking the caseset issue under warranty, because other members faced the same issue and are looking for a solution.
But this is not the reason this watch will be coming back. The crystal is brokenn, it need a new crystal, but I'm covering the cost of the repair.
I can say MR is a fine dealer as I'm sure your all aware. Always been superb with rectifying and problems I have had. Good luck getting your 292 fixed!
J'ai lu sur RWI et peut etre ailleurs que la version M corrigeait le probleme des "cornes", et un autre gars a écrit qu'il ne pouvait plus porter sa montre parce qu une corne etait cassée.
