Hi guys , im new here .
am looking for a pam292 on e WWW and chance across this forum , been reading thru alot of post and didnt see anyone with a black seal ceramic . any idea where to get one to mod ?

Just to clarify, confirmed with Mary via e-mail that the one posted at RWG is in fact a PVD coated matte finish. Very nice piece, but not full ceramic. Mary will get the full ceramic version tomorrow and will send pics.

I got mine through WBK for $110. It's a good budget pam. It's in need of a relume though.

LOL it was actually on the first page when you search for "black seal" but once i saw the date i debated whether or not to start a new thread, or resurrect this one. I figured someone would have told me to "use the search feature" so.. that's what brings us here!

the 1st pce i was looking for when i joined .
well i did my researched , pvd ones too shiney ceramic one not really good compared to the supers hbb factory release . best i found so far is DLC one on sale at rg . but didnt wanna get as its got the pig logo . i read somewhere that one modder could bead blast a ceramic case and have it re coated in DLC n matt the case to gen look . but the amount of time , effort and cost is too high IMO. so best option would be DSN 292 without pig logo .

sad to say, i've got only ONE rep on me and the bezel insert fell off . so its going to GOIN as soon as my replacement case reach me . as for other 'nice' pieces , one is missing CRYSTAL (which BC pull the plug on) and one just got dial n hands . so there u have it , my nice pieces indeed >!

As far as i can tell PTW seems to have 3 models: Polished Ceramic (NO Pig), Brushed/Matte PVD, and Polished PVD.

The matte PVD seems to look pretty good to me, of course it still wouldn't be ceramic

I could only imagine the cost of the ceramic, bead blasted, DLC'd 292!

I've been looking for pics of DSN's 292 but i haven't been able to find any

I wonder if the pig dial was able to be sourced, i could send it to DSN and he could slip it into his watch for me..

i was actually considering a 183 get a sterile caseback n shoot jakohb a PM if he's able to do the engravings on it , then send the whole bunch to taka for DLC treatment , that'll cost alot as well , but it'll be a fun project.
