PAM 217, Davidsen or EddieLee that's the question

Davidsen can't fix the upside down main bridge engraving. He doesn't modify the movements he uses in his watches, he sources them directly from the factory.
At best we could only hope mov't finishers in China would listen to somebody like DSN and produce few 'special' order mov'ts for 217 and other destros.

Also when DSN says it's Swiss ETA - it really is !

General word of caution here - the movement with correct main bridge txt orientation (destro/lefty) that briefly popped its head out in one of the iterations of 217MM recently is actualy Asian clone.

So keep your eyes peeled guys, and don't believe the hype...and ALWAYS, ALWAYS scratch under the surface of so called reps of ULTIMATE, PERFECT, 1:1, 100% and other pompous claims.

Basic ETA 6497-1 mov't are short in supply these days, and while most of the Swiss ETA reps sold as such actualy are just that, there are also Swiss ETA clones and substitutes being sold these days as Swiss ETA, demanding the $$ premium.
