These are the more correct 21600bph high beat seagull st3600 movement's, the new 111M & 177M come with the low beat 18000bph, but now plat plated bridges
Which are better in reliability the high beat or low beat movements? Or does it matter?

To my knowledge, it is not the beat itself affecting the reliability but more of the make of the movement. Seems that seagull movements are usually far superior than other rep movements in terms of build quality and reliability.

Are there any Panerai's with the seagull movement in it, already?

Hi Guys, just had my QC pics through from Doris at PT and was looking for any help/advise/comments as I don’t really know what I’m looking for (apart from the blindingly obvious – a cracked screen J)

This is my first ever rep purchase and I’m not really sure what to expect. I am very picky and always like things as perfect as they can be – I know I’m not buying the real thing hear so there may well be faults with all reps (the odd scratch or mark etc..) but want to understand from the community what’s acceptable or not.

On the whole I think this watch looks good. It looks like there’s a mark on the tip of the crown lever and also a screw head damage on both the large crown screw and bottom lug/strap screw. Also, the underside of the buckle looks a little marked.

I also have no idea what’s going on in the machine readout but I guess a beat error of 0.0 is good J

Are these screws easy to come by and replace, do you guys think this looks good, or perhaps should I request to see another one?

Thanks for your help here
Whats the difference in the v2 version?

V2 is identical to previous just comes with the new platinum plated bridges on the movement.

The new plat movement is still low beat 1800 though.

Has a new high beat fitted, 21,600 and it makes a nice accurate sound, a faster tick tick tick tick when holding it to the ear compared to the low beat.
