hope there will be the original strap (gray +red luna rossa typo)

then... this model is quite nice, but i've a conceptual problem : luna rossa is supposed to a sailing universe, while luminor is more a "city" watch

PAM should have be more creatve there, like previous blacky collection : use some white sails material?

Here comes a teaser picture of the Gen ;-)

I am curious about the HWF version. The Gen is 15mm thick, so the HWF will probably not be much too thick with their 7750-Solution. As the Gen has a screwed strap change system this also will be no problem. Unfortunately the Gen has a pressed caseback. I hate these casebacks, so whatever HWF will do, it is wrong - either a genlike rubbish pressed caseback or a better but not genlike screwed one ;)

Panerai are doing pressed in casebacks now...? That has to rank up there with the strap spring bars they used for some models.

I'll let our resident lab rat @JayBee0815 test this one first
Harsh but fair :ROFLMAO:
Very interested in this and JBs feedback, I need to pad out the collection with more 44mm Betti cases..

Well, first of all, I guess rep will use 6497 while gen will use P.6000.
GEN models are 13.05mm while rep should be around 15mm like standard OP.I/II/X/XI, but this is for all models, including those that were made before, starting with PAM1085, for example.

Secondly, this model should be on screw rods, not on QSC, as far as I know.

Finally, according to the latest, this is not a flapper cover, but the so-called driven caseback, as on all the latest models. It twists under pressure at a certain angle. Thus, you can reverse that all these casebacks are always engraved in the same direction. Flapper lids do not have edges, and are simply round.

For the rest - everything is.

How.. what?? Gen is sandwich dial and they've made a sausage dial? The Lume in the second hand is white on the Gen.. but to name a couple of issues.. you going to accept the watch JB?

When you look at side perspective you can see, it has a sandwich dial ... but a rather bad one ;-)
But come on, it has an AAA-Price and you get what you pay for :ROFLMAO:
I ordered it "blind" and now i have to take it. That´s ok. A nice watch for gardening and if I am tired of her, I will sell her for a fortune on Facebook ... Ooooops, have I said that?

Not to mention the gen doesn’t use a roller ball crown guard lever either.

I missed out on a gen for sale locally a few months ago. For $5k it’s a great buy!

I was eyeing this. If SBF / VSF makes this one then I am all in. Although, we really need SBF to drop a new super clone movement.
