based on some photos I have seen, the polish bezel seems to emulate the gen like "S" swirl look. or is it just me?

That has been the case (pun intended) for rep PAMs for quite awhile now. It's almost expected on new reps.

KW version isn't even out a week and SF comes out with their own version of the P.9010 for the PAM01312, which looks like the P.9000 clone function movement just decorated (the balance wheel is @9). Also the PAM01359 is released (KW and SF versions).

SF 1312 case back make sure mistake. dail look correct or not ?

Movement nicely decorated like gen
Construction quality really good

CASESET- the same as old version and completely wrong regarding shape and thickness

It would deserve a LOW grade rep Evaluation since it is completely inaccurate. Due to the overall quality we will decide about a better evaluation but always bearing in mind that the main reason of PANERAI making PAM 1312 and PAM 1359 is to get a thinner and easier to wear watch. In practice and in the hand the differences are noticeable. I had the opportunity of making direct comparisons in the Madrid SIHH 2016

We can hope. The P.9000 has been a long time coming but still no real P.9000 clone. I would totally be happy if they did the lugs right. Right now the stubby lugs like the PAM312 totally ruins the thinner look the PAM1312 was going for.

My theory is that the case factory of the PAM661 must be different from the one that made case for the PAM1312. That would explain why the PAM661 had the correctly shaped lugs but not the PAM1312.

IMO the new reps PAM 1312 and 1359 are using the same case of the old models 312 and 359, or, at least, the modifications are not noticeable. Thickness and lug shape are really wrong.

However, the new rep PAM 661 is fitted by a new case trying to get an accurate shape of the case and the lugs. The thickness is not perfect it could have about 1,5 to 1,75mm of difference. But in the wrist if the shape is almost correct you could forget or not to realize the difference of thickness

IMO PAM 661 could be an approach good enough, but PAM 1312 and 1359 with the old case will be really unacceptable
