It's a new release (just recently announced along with the Luminor Due). The new decorated movement looks great since the balance wheel (at least in the A7750 version) is in the 11 o'clock position, same as gen. I can't say anything about the case thickness, although everything else seems to copy the PAM01312 quite nicely especially the blue hand. This would mean the other 1950s PAMs like the PAM01359 and the PAM01499 are not far behind.

Is it just me or inscription on the dial of 01312 are brownish (on the official website) which is considered to be wrong on the current 312? (http://www.panerai.com/ru/collectio...-3-days-automatic-acciaio---44-_pam01312.html)
Looks like they used the old style Luminor 1950 case instead of the new one with thin lugs.

Josh' site indicates the thickness at 18.5, which is actually thicker than the old P.9000 PAM312 (Gen).
Although wrong, the thicker lugs sure look better on this thicker than gen case. The thin lugs look far out of place on such a thick case in my eyes.

It would deserve a LOW grade rep Evaluation since it is completely inaccurate. Due to the overall quality we will decide about a better evaluation but always bearing in mind that the main reason of PANERAI making PAM 1312 and PAM 1359 is to get a thinner and easier to wear watch. In practice and in the hand the differences are noticeable. I had the opportunity of making direct comparisons in the Madrid SIHH 2016

I fully agree. The whole point of the PAM01xxx series is to make the Luminor 1950 thinner and more wearable.
By failing to address the thickness, these reps cannot be considered of high level. Better stick with reps of the PAM00312 and PAM00359.
I still have the hope that this model is slimmer that 312 rep... Otherwise - fully onboard with Ale's thoughts.
KW version isn't even out a week and SF comes out with their own version of the P.9010 for the PAM01312, which looks like the P.9000 clone function movement just decorated (the balance wheel is @9). Also the PAM01359 is released (KW and SF versions).
based on some photos I have seen, the polish bezel seems to emulate the gen like "S" swirl look. or is it just me?
