For some reason, I associate this with the illuminated emblem on the Mercedes radiator grill, or the flashlight in the door with the projection of the Bentley logo on the asphalt ....

I am sure that this has its fans, but certainly not what I expect from panerai.

When I saw pam fantasies on dhgate with engraved cases and luminous engraving, as well as a strap line, I was funny. When panerai starts to do this, it is no longer ..

I actually kind of like this one -- not sure if I would have said that before owning the 984.

The new Luminors are following the rep adage of fantasy models will become gen in 2-3 years. I'm pretty sure Natas has been doing dials like this for a couple of years ...

I like when they add lume to non traditional places. The Snoopy Speedmaster, the Pelagos, the Royal Oak. They have what I consider non traditional lume (being indices only) and I enjoy the look of it. I do like the one that jonnybaws listed as well. I think it is nice when manufactures create models that are far and away from their standard. The 1662 reminds me of the GSOTM Speedmaster.

A carbon-fiber like material made from basalt is very interesting and I like the grey color better than the black carbotech. And the stealth dial on the 1662 is a pretty mean look ...

Agree, the 1662 is awesome. Also that 1663 with the new material gray case and blue dial is just gorgeous!! Those would definitely be on my list if they get repped
