i'll be honest: if it's really 10 years old, no matter how rare (it has quite common specs in all fairness) I don't think you can fetch more than 200USD if you are lucky. i just bought a semi-new 176 (not far from this) for less than 100USD (they go 138 new)

Then, of course, it's a relatively free market; but from a rational point of view I'd say not more than 200USD

At $200 that's a 50% drop from new price with delivery. I'm looking for a 356 which is nowhere near as rare but also sold out and I can't see me picking one up for 50% of the original td price. There are similar watches to the 356 available at great prices but that doesn't effect the value of a 356 so imo comparisons to other models just hold no weight. I will try and trade it for a watch I would get more wear from if not I'll sell it for £250 with a couple of NATO straps, any less and I'll just keep it. If nobody wants it for that I'd really not be that bothered. It's by far the nicest 44mm luminor I've seen for my tastes. I also have similar watches I will be selling cheaper more in line with your 176 so thanks for your input

I only gave my opinion, I have no interest in this and obviously I don't see the rareness and peculiarity which warrant such pricetag. GLWS

I had one about ay ear ago. Paid and sold for €240

Thanks pure, this is exactly what I was looking for, an actual sale of same model not a similar model. I'll base my sale on this if I decide to let it go :)

For those that are interested curiosity has got the better of me and I just bought a cheap titanium scratch remover pen, I'll give the scratch removal a little go and see if I get an improvement to the case. I'll report back.....

I've dialux bars medium and fine to brush with with good results..

Here's one example of a link I brushed a scratch out of...

And my Pelagos clasp (titanium also). Lightly brushed to get most small scratches out.
