I paid for a new Rolex VSF 126613LB. Made the order on his website. I was told I will get credit card payment advice later in the email.

The order on the website was $658 USD. I have photographic proof.
We were then taken to a portal to pay. I put in $658 USD and the transaction went through.

On the bank's website was charged $716.50!! I have screenshot

When I confronted Andrew about it he said its currency conversion charges. What currency conversion charge? We were asked to pay in USD we paid in USD how is there a currency conversion?? He has not replied back at all after I confronted him

Not happy.

$658 is for the watch. What about shipping and payment fees?

You joined on 3/5/2011 and still asking this question ?
If you go to a shop and the shopkeeper says that'll be $2.00, you tap your credit card and then you are told thank you for $2.00 and you get a receipt of $2.00. Then you go home and check your bank you were charged $4!!! do you understand

@greekgod, slow down. Your frustration has some validity.

Your bank might not have conversion fees, but his might. You can always ask for clarification and/or ask for a refund and find a dealer who has any other payment type that will not incur fees.

Also a lesson learned to always ask for TOTAL amount directly to the dealer before you even commit to buying, this includes asking for CC fees, conversion charges, any charges. Some websites are not outfitted to calculate extra fees.

I'm certain Andrew will contact you with options. @trustytime

WHAT? what are you on about? Did you read what I wrote?

He's implying that this has been known about for years, and you should know since you've been around here for awhile.

Everything inclusive. The portal said $658 USD. THe bank account said $716. Thats fraud.

It's not fraud. There absolutely is currency conversion, which costs money to do. Ever traveled to another country and had to convert currency? Not only that, but the CC processor is a seperate entity from the TD. They have to make money too, and since it's used for illegal goods, they need to be paid enough for it to be worth while. Welcome to buying illegal goods; this isn't Amazon. You could have used other payment methods to get around the extra CC charges, even gotten a discount if it was crypto.

You know what truly is fraudulent? The counterfeit Rolex you bought.

Before you assume it's a fraud and you start accusing, I would suggest you discuss it with the TD first. If no outcome, then you can simply open a ticket. My bad above, watch price is $628. My guess is that the surcharge might be credit card fees to international payments, currency conversion, etc.
Personally, I never order through TD websites. I'd rather discuss with them on a personal level over emails or social apps to avoid misunderstandings like this.

So what are you doing here if the Rolex are fraudulent? I have bought from Andrew and have never had this issue of $60 being charged extra. The credit card portal said TOTAL AMOUNT= $658! and after the transaction, the bank account said $716. Can you understand? It was USD to USD where is the currency conversion involved? When I asked him for a TOTAL amount he told me its $658. Despite me asking numerous times he did not give me Transferwise details.

I asked him for TOTAL amount and reconfirmed it with him! In fact, I asked him for Transferwise but he did not give it for some reason and direct me towards creditcard.

Is what I have done for 12 years with him. I told him that I never go through his website and that I rather discuss via email the total price and pay using WU (which is how I paid him all the time) or transferwise. THIS time for some reason he asked me to buy through the website. So I reconfirmed with him the price and paid online. The online payment instructions were emailed later. It took me to a portal and the amount to pay was fed in as $658USD, the agreed price. He mentioned nothing about the extra cost. Why would a TD not let this know.

Looks like it has already been discussed in the past.

chinese cc gateways always carry extra fees , get over it, it’s the price for accessibility.

i for one would never pass my cc details to these gateways.

My first rep purchase was from Andrew and same thing happened, the extra charge is for the third party CC processing company and the conversion fees. Even PayPal charges when you buy, ever sell anything on eBay? You get stuck with their fees and percentages.
It’s not Andrew’s fault there is a fee on a process of you paying with your legitimate credit card to buy a illegal counterfeit watch, all while not having your identity exposed or credit card information stolen.
I recommend in the future you use Wise for payment or crypto.

It says on his site that there will be a surcharge of 8-10%

Same thing happened to me, unexpected yes.. but I did not do my research and that's on me.
Trusty has been around for years, he's not ruining his reputation and standing over $50.

I personally wouldn't order by CC for such purchases - not spic and span kinda transactions, you see.
But I can feel the added security that one can dispute in 90 days (or so).
If you feel defrauded, you can ask him for full refund. Its possible the $ you get refunded will be less than that deducted. But then you can file a ticket here or follow other avenues ...
