P.9010 clone worse than non-clone?

Puretime has posted the SF versions of PAM01312 and PAM01359 with clone movements.

According to their description this is a "Custom designed Asian movement to match the genuine Panerai P9010 movement, self-winding, independent adjustable hour hand which allows you to turn it clockwise or anti-clockwise to adjust hours and date easily".

While it sounds good on paper, the movement seems rotated and having a poor finishing.

What are your views?

I mentioned in the PAM01312 thread, it seems like SF is using a decorated P.9000 clone movement, so the function of the P.9000 (and it follows, the P.9010) is copied. However, the balance wheel being at the 9 position instead of the 11, the factory made an exaggerated bridge, which looks horrible compared to the first P.9010 that came out. Also, if SF factory used the P.9000 clone, then its flaw of the subdial location being not in the correct position is also copied over. As for the naming, well, as KW/V6F did not call their movement the P.9010 clone, SF decided, might as well use it.

I'd say they're not even in the same league.
If mysterio is right about the subdial location then... Meh :/

SF 1312/1359 case back (R1601/3000) not correct. I can't understand why they use R****.

Dial (LUMINOR ... PANERAI) also NOT correct, more bigger, deep yellow.

Wow, Not very impressive at all! :-(

But we don't know what factory that is. I've seen KW/V6F pics that show a centered date and a proper sandwich dial (not a TD here, just saw it on the internet). So all is not lost. :)

You can only tell (pun intended) the rep by the movement, all the other aspects of the watch are spot on (if we removed the movement aspect, we can call it a super rep). So no worries there. The placement of the balance wheel on the P.9010 was great for the A7750 version (+1) but unfortunately they retained the wrong lug shape from the old 1950s case (-1), so one step forward one step back. However, the use of the clone function P.9000, in addition to the incorrect lugs (-1), now has the huge bridge (-1) accentuating the wrong location (-1) in addition to the slight subdial placement error (-1). So from (+1/-1) for the A7750 version, (0/-4) for the clone function P.9000. If I had to choose, I would get the A7750 version from V6F. :)

At the level of the current reps I don't understand such a releases from SF
Movement looks horrible in comparison with the Clone. Inscriptions on dial don't deserve comments
Regarding cases it is obvious they are also using the old 1950 case.

Just to be forgotten

Also factor in the wrong case size mysterio.... the main point to the 1xxx series is the thinner case. It makes a huge difference.

We now have a third contender, and it looks like a winner. :)

The ZF PAM1359.

- Long lugs - CHECK!
IMG_5097-1.jpg

- A7750 based P.9010 movement - CHECK!
IMG_5107-2.jpg

- Thickness - 15.8mm (compared to 15.65mm for the gen, don't tell me you can judge a less than 1% thickness difference of 150 microns) - CHECK!

It means the other P.9010 reps are going to be replicated soon. :D
