It may be fixable it may not whether you go for BP or jf. The sh can be replaced with gen parts, the eta can be replaced with gen parts. If the movement is completely dead you can buy a replacement one from @Tickleshoes or a replacement eta from Cousins, Ofrei, Ebay or M2M if you buy a BP.

(If at this point you have no idea what I'm talking about it is advisable you do a lot more reading up because you should probably understand what you are getting yourself into)

Just remember you're buying a watch assembled by a manual worker in a Chinese sweatshop, you may get lucky it may be oiled correctly and clean enough to run ok but ultimately it will never live as long as a swiss one so I always get them serviced immediately, but really the choice is yours. You will get people on here that have had their watch ages and had no issues, and people that say don't touch the movement because they break. Like with everything the reality is somewhere in the middle. Yuki even used to advise that his movements were sold requiring service.

Since I started servicing every watch on arrival my failure rate is zero. Before that it was probably 1 in 4 within a year.

I love it hehe for all those who aren't fine with the long shipping time or sure if it's worth buying or not.
Just do it :)
Looks so sick! Which TD was this from, and did you purchase the box at the same time? Could you provide a link?!

The rolex engraving on the clasp for gen and rep seem off? Looks as if the rep engraving is flawless and the gen is rough. Accidentally switched?

Great feedback, thank you.
Who do you utilize to service your watches? How much do you standardly pay for this service?

I use ado213 as I'm in the UK and he is as well. Cost varies with movement and watch, you can ask him directly.

If you are in the US maybe tickleshoes?

I appreciate the suggestion for tickleshoes. RWI is a wealth of information but the search bar isn't the easiest tool to use for it.
