The interest rate these guys are charging is 19% Blow me. My credit score is in the high 600's but that qualifies me for a 7.2%
MC or Visa, which I have and will buy a gen with that card rather than pay these bozos insane and usuary fees. What a total bullshit scam designed for idiots with good credit. Hmmm come to think of it, there are a lot of idiots with good credit who no doubt have fallen prey to these con men. Buyer beware.

hahahhhahaha, it's a funny business
but here in Jakarta, we have Hand Bag lease, where high profiles house wifes could go and rent a hand bag to go with their gown / cloths, when they want to attend some function or "meetings"

they provide high quality gen bags such as LV, Gucci, Parada, Hermes, etc

mostly based on trust, hehehehe

I agree with brtelec, what's stopping you from taking a watch that weights no more than a few ounces that's worth $100,000 out of the country? Or sell it overseas and file a police report that someone stole it... hmmm... now a car is something I wouldn't recommend stuffing into your pocket.

For some this lease set up could be a write off in their day to day business. Consider this, your an arm model and any embellishment you put on it increases your value. UPS man has to wear brown, clown has to wear a nose, Brt/Deep1 and his identical hand twin need to wear gloves...ect. Hey while I am thinking about it, the boss needs me to get to work on time, the watch becomes a business expense correct? :D

Oh and if you lose it or steal it, you buy it! I am sure that's in the contract, no question. They will also request collateral for the value of the watch. These guys ain't stupid.

True, I would considerate buying a nice Seamaster Chrono if they would give me 36 months no interest and if the AD gives me a nice discount :|

Yes, guilty, I've been thinking about it... I'll probably just end up buying the rep and getting a Swiss 7750 in there + some upgrades like a gen dial.

For a watch of that value, you'd be using their house as collateral. You wouldn't just hire a $100,000 out to a random punter with no ID. :)
