I really like this one - but can you guys spot any flaws?!

Yeah, I can spot some flaws - if the description on Silix site is correct. Nevertheless a great looking rep. I am fighting the urge to buy it... and I think I am going to loose, just like on Héritage.

The bezel insert is curved slightly on the rep, the gen is completely flat and the blue on the case back is off a little but it may be the lighting. I'm splitting hairs really. The pearl is perfect.

C'mon. Those are not the flaws I'm talking of... :lol:

According to the description, it's 44mm and it should be 47mm. Also, the description says SS, it should be Ti. The marker at 6 o'clock is WAY crooked. The minute indices around the subdial at 6 o'clock should be silver, not black. No serial number engraving on the side of the case.

Hooligan's right. Plus: Caseheight should be 27mm (!) instead of 18mm.

BUT, i dunno if Silix just put in wrong specs. THe gens bezel is 44mm for example. dial could appear blue due to "AR".
Case could look ss, because some parts are polished or some Oris divers have exactly these specs.

I'll order it to find it out I guess.

Uh - I was just about to mention the size and material too!

..but still....its a great looking watch. Prefer the chunky bracelet though.

I think I'd buy it if it was 44mm. 47 is too beaucoup !!

im trying to order this one, but havent heard back from silix.
the rep looks great in my opinion....only minor flaws...
and serisouly who knows alot about "oris?"


the one thing i saw was the side needs to be engraved with
the number xxx/2000...this is a limited edition of 2k.

also...is this is a new mvmt?? i know we have secs at 3, but i never saw secs @3 with the minute counter at 6....its usually at 9 when the secs are at 3. anybody else notice this?

Gen size confirmed to be 47mm, right? Rep is 44mm. Case engraving and height are also flaws (I love the thick case height of the gen). Also, case and bracelet should both be Ti...

I do love this watch though...hopefully an improved version is on the horizon.

Yes, the gen is Ø47mm x 18mm thick.

It's a great watch. I got to try one on at Tourneau in Vegas. I wanted to buy it, but my wife was giving my dirty looks.

I would not buy the rep at 44mm. The size of this piece is a detail that cannot be missed, and I think it was a huge mistake not to get it right.

One more thing:

The gen is titanium and weighs almost nothing compared to it's size.

Based on these two MAJOR flaws, I would stay away from this rep.

According the the gen owners review on WUS, the sizes of 44 diameter bezel, and 47 dia. case are right. So it seems that Silix's description is correct?

At at work now, and we have filters for viewing pictures on such sites, but I own the genuine of this watch, and I can confirm that it is titanium (ofcourse) and that it has an about 47mm base and a 44 mm bezel. It is a very nice watch and it has superb wristconnection. I can totally recommend this watch. Priced at 2190 usd at some sites, I´d say it is a fairly cheap watch for what it is.

Are you kidding JB? The lowest I've seen it around 1,600.00. Man thats a heck of a price for that watch.
