Ok guys, well I could wait no longer, I did well enough waiting the 15 days I did (after reading sd4ks excellent review!) , bought this from Silix today :) , initial purchase was prompted by too much alcohol on saturday night (well I think that is a reasonable excuse  ). Purchase has been made under the radar of her indoors, but what do I say when it arrives :?: Maybe I say it cost a hundred bucks instead of 300?! [smilie=angel12.gif] its only a white lie.
When she goes for the kitchen knife Ill just try and think to myself "Life is good" as Klink says.

I just got one and it does not wear huge width-wise but it is VERY thick & heavy. I like it.

Any wristshots? So if I need to knock someone out with it I can  I was suprised that it doesnt come with the 'high beat' 7750 for the money, isnt this one more reliable? or is the 'low beat' version (the older design) a reliable movement.

I just ordered mine. I can't wait! 5-7 days is wayyyy to long. I'm looking at the wrist shots like porn. I'm a big watch nut if you can't tell.

Well Ok guys I recieved my watch today (it actually came last week but I was on hoilday so didnt have in my hands until now). Took a few snaps, and everything looks fine. Interesting difference between mine, the original and Yannou's version is the button for the start-stop for the Chrono is different (the lower button), why they have done this is anyones guess  ; take a look -

On my version the entire 'pusher' moves in, whereas I assume on Yannou's just the 'inner' part of the button itself moves in so in this case mine isnt 'true' to the gen (but I suppose its a bit of a fantasy watch anyway, being in S.Steel and not Ti, plus not having the full metal strap!)

One slight issue dialwise is the alignment of the markers on the rehaut at the 12 oclock position relative to the 12 oclock marker on the dial, you can see it in this pic but its just me being picky

The buckle is as others have said, a little cheap looking but the rubber itself feels ok.

I have tried to take a 'lume' shot (but its not a great pic), lume aint great but we knew that already

Here are another couple of shots,

http://img55.imageshack.us/img55/7526/hpim0319gz1.jpg

as you can see, mine is number 268 of the strictly limited edition run of 2000 that were produced by Oris

I did try and put these pics in using
but for somereason the forum sort of chopped the photo up so you could only see a third of each pic blown up really big, Im guessing this is a resolution thing?
Thanks for looking :D

Scratch my comment about the pushers, I didnt realise that the outer bit of the pusher screws in and out to prevent the use of the chrono and a leak whilst under water  so mine are the same as the gen.....

You live and you learn eh

Haha, funny. I actually had the same problem when i got my Breitling Evolution. I thought the pushers were broken because I couldn't push them in. It took me about 20 mins to figure it out. And i felt pretty stupid when i did.

hi guys and probably a girl or two :)

I'm having trouble with my OCC. When I take out the crown and start setting the time, it stucks around 22:00 hrs and the dials will not continue moving clockwise. No problem when I move them backwards, only at 22:00 and forth....

What the hell is wrong?! pls help a newbie out. Thanks!

Wanted to post an update on my Carlos Coste. I received it today. It is a MASSIVE watch...just what I wanted. The quality control on the watch is excellent. I can see no flaws. All pushers and stems work correctly as does the stopwatch function. I had to cut the rubber strap about 1/2 inch on each side and it was ready to wear. I have big wrists and this watch still is one honking piece of metal on my arm.

As far as I can tell, and as expected, it has zero lume...as in zip, nada. I expect I'll be sending it to one of our colleagues on the board for a "lube job".

So, in sum, I'm a happy camper.

Jay was very patient with me. The first time he tried to ship it, Chinese Customs refused it. It went through the second time, but took over two weeks in transit. I do not recommend air mail. Although it's a bit cheaper than courier, it takes WAAAY too long.

That's it for now.

I'm sorry but the two ex of this watch I've received are nothing but crap. One loose rotor and the other has now problems with dials stuck at 10 when setting time

Good looking watch though
