i have bee reading that the secs @9 reps arent as great as secs @6 and the ones at 6 are more closer to the gen ?

Closer yes, but neither is super close.

Sec@6 have wrong bezel slope, too thick case, some dial inconsistencies on some models. And movement that can be problematic. Crown height wrong also

Sec@9 have a thinner case, not sure about bezel. But wrong bracelet, subdials in wrong place, and crown height also wrong. And very solid movement.

So neither is super accurate, but whatever.

Ask dealers, they might sell you that rubber crap.
Sorry, I just can't stand rubber, especially on the Rolex.
