Ordered Davidsen's PAM 005

Oh, don't worry about me. No matter how skeptical I am about the details, I'm equally ignorant about the gen pannies. Hence, as long as the make of Davidsen's watch is defined and clean, I'm happy... And that's exactly the case.

(Only thing I'm still sour about is the lost CG screw...)

Ah, the joy of receiving your order from davidsen. That's how it looked for my non-branded, in that small box wrapped in green oil paper. I gotta take pics like you did when I get my next order from davidsen.

I just received a OEM Blk Dirk Logo 005 strap from a guy on Paneristi. It's rated waterproof to 7000 feet for 50 hours (As if). Of course this is for my Davidsen 005. It also came with the OEM sown-in lobo buckle. This strap really completes the feel with this watch. I also received an OEM Golden Calf 26/26 Fiddy Strap for my 1950 Fiddy that does the same thing for it. But thats another subject as the crystal exploded at 34,000 feet in the 1st class cabin!!

With the wide range of variations of the original Panerai watches who the hell will be ever sure looking at Davidsen's version that it is a rep? Different production time of the same original model and the font or the dial or something else is different from the previous run. We are our worst enemy with this constant nitpicking i see on many boards. It's an awesome watch seraphe. Don't let a few pictures ruin that for you.

I just picked my 005 from my parents'.

Damn, its an amazing watch - much better than the photos I've seen on this site.

My favorite feature of the Davidsen, which I haven't read about, is the fact that when you open the crown lever, the crown slides out smoothly like the gen. I have a PAM 111 and 222, none of which has this feature.

Really makes for a classy watch.

He ships from Hong Kong....the package flies the hell out of there on greased rails...like I said earlier....3 days to Florida and that included Saturday and Sunday. Shipped on Friday at my door on Monday. Incredible :shock:

Got my 005 replacement today from davidsen, The first one had some

ar coating problems. The watch is an awsome rep and I'm wearing it right now.

Took some photos last night. The watch is lovely, but have to be honest to say that the lume (even the hands) are a bit disappointing.

The watches from left to right are : Rep PAM 222, Rep PAM 005, Rep Rolex EXP 1, Gen Tag 3000 Series, Gen Tag Formula 1 (original version)

Regardless, I STILL LOVE THIS WATCH!!!
