Ordered a watch from Lucy in October, received an Empty Box (no response yet)

Initially, I didn't plan on posting this here. However, after waiting for several months without any response to my emails, I decided to highlight the issue for Lucy to read and to inform potential buyers.

I've purchased a couple of watches from Lucy, and the overall experience has been positive. The wait is usually worth it, as Lucy goes the extra mile to select the best pieces, often including services from a watchsmith.

However, my recent transaction in October last year took an unfortunate turn. Upon receiving the DHL box after waiting for weeks, I found out that I've received a so called "Empty Box"—a huge disappointment, but regrettably, sometimes part of the game.

In such situations, effective communication with your TD is crucial. Despite sending numerous emails in search of a resolution or, at the very least, a response from Lucy, I have not received any communication for the past two months.

I hope Lucy comes across this message, allowing us to work together to find a solution.

It's important to note that my intention is not to disparage Lucy; rather, I share this information for the benefit of everyone's awareness when considering purchases from Lucy.

I'm simply sharing an honest experience I recently had. Despite this specific issue, I want to emphasize that my overall experience with Lucy has been positive.

Shit happens in this hobby, any buyer should always accept that they may end up losing the money.

I suggest you just wipe your chin and walk away from this particular experience.

This is very true, so OP, have you actually made certain that the address you are corresponding with is not either an old one or a scam site with very similar details ? It happens a lot !!

Lucy doesn't have a website.
But the loss may be a theft from one of the mailing companies that carried out dispatch.

I'm certainly convinced that Lucy has nothing to do with the empty box.

I didn't purchased from the website, I've emailed with Lucy's email address.

I know this happens and is part of the game, this time it happend to me. I just want to share this story and hopefully Lucy will read it. It might be theft from DHL or other companies that are involved in the shipping process, who knows.

I'm not seeking a refund, and I don't anticipate that. However, I believe, as a Trusted Dealer (TD), it would be appreciated to receive a response. Perhaps there's a recurring issue with DHL as a supplier recently, and I want to bring this to light for discussion.

Can you please post the exact URL and email address you were using for Lucy?

I'll leave you guys tuit, I didn't make myself that clear, (that often happens), but what I meant was whatever address OP is using to communicate may be going somewhere else ;)

2 weeks ago I had my EMail hacked and the hacker had total control over all my emails, I was away from home for the whole day, couldn't get into my EMail because the guy had changed the p/w, when I got home it took BT Cyber Tech 2 hours to fix it, he said it was quite an elaborate hack.

All my contacts, thousands over a 23 year period, had received emails, some actually engaged in convo with the ass, and after a couple of mails he was asking them to send money pretending he was me stuck out in the wilds :confused:

If he was hacked they would not bother sending an empty box.
They have the money , no need to do anything else.

did the parcel looked like it had been tampered with or opened?
