I agree. Totally wasting a beautiful movement on a douchebag casing.^but the movement itself is not bad at all.
Every luxury company, perhaps with the exception of ALS, have the dubious honour of trying to appeal to the "completely upstanding nonviolent rap musician," "not a corrupt member of the Central Committe of the CCP," and "nice Wahhabist allies of America Arab oil sheik" demographics, all of whom are noted for their large quantities of currency but total lack of taste.
Nobody is safe from making crap because, as the law of the market dictates, they're going to make things that sell even if it does mean ROO wannabes that are oversized, cluttered, clunky, brightly-coloured, and needlessly encrusted with gems or other precious materials.
However, in terms of company which takes this to the extreme without contributing anything worth a cat's fart? Hublot. The definition of nothing but price, design, and marketing for 0 payoff. Just big, ugly watches catered to a demographic fundamentally interested in being loud, annoying, and openly flaunting of their wealth. They therefore make the most CONSISTENTLY tasteless, ugly and pointless watches on the market and, as is the law of the market, are thus rewarded by the wealth of their consumer base
You bought this?Hopefully before joining RWI.
Olum watch multiple time zone with thermometer and compass $160

Tag is doing really well right now, actually if I had to buy a gen it would be a tag! They have a big ad campaign everywhere (with that model with the thick eyebrows) which seems to be attracting a younger market.TAG HEUER I just dont know, I used to love tags but now they really look like $200 watches
Looks like a watch that hasn't come out of the closet yet.Jacob&Co

I'm sure i'll get killed for this, but I can't stand AP. So many people here seem to love them, but to me they look bulky. Octagon shape not appealing, and the dials are too busy. to much shit going on with textures. Honestly I look at them and they remind me of Invicta's subaqua line..Maybe I just need to buy a rep and see what all this love is about lol
