Ok so I took a walk around a lot of watch boutiques today seen some crazy ass and down right bang ugly monstrosities!!
The main contender's for me were RICHARD MILLE, I just looked at them dumbfounded... and suprisingly HUBLOT, I have a classic fusion which I adore but some of the other monstrosities are just so so tacky, they look plasticky and cheap. ROGER DUBUIS, I didnt bother going in, absolute tackiness, and it struck me that i noticed others around the window remarking about how awful they look. Also in the mix on the basis of being completely dull, even their staff were dull and boring was IWC... I was looking forward to seeing them in the metal, I was never blown away by them in pics or the few reps ive owned, I thought they had to be seen to be appreciated and would look awesome in real life but no, I think if you put an Accurist or Sekonda logo instead of IWC nobody would care or think otherwise, dull dull dull.. Lastly My god TAG HEUER I just dont know, I used to love tags but now they really look like $200 watches
On a positive note, I seen some brands Iv'e never seen before like Panerai, Audemar's Piguet, Patek Phillipe and I was so impressed, less is definitely more when it comes to watches, Breitling's current range was also very impressive which I was surprised at, iv'e never been much of a Breitling fan but saw a few I couldn't pick between as my favorite
Really If I had to pick the worst... I think HUBLOT, I really think they look so bad, so overdone but at the same time look so cheap.
