The problem is that at the time when you were repeating dozens of time that ZF would be the best you had absolutely no way of knowing, except Angus' opinion. That's why you got the heat. You're not a Cassandra, you're just a guy that got lucky.
Eventually the ZF seems to be a great rep and that's good for everyone. But the fact that you happened to be right despite having no clue about what you were talking about doesn't warrant any apology from anyone.
So please grow up and move on

As others said the criticism still stands, the problems are still there even if it turned out to be "better" than the first pictures. Remember that this is the most expensive sub replica available at the moment, it's like 100$ less expensive than a noob Daytona, do you realize this?
It's a given that it should be a good watch.
But at the same time here is NO reason for a submariner (with those flaws) to cost so much, it should have been priced around VSF's or ZZF's price point

What do you think those flaws are? From what I can see the only criticism is that the SEL recess could be better.

Crown guards (better in VSF for 100$ less) SEL recess, crystal (good but still not as good as it was promised to be).
This release has very strong points, it's maybe the best sub available ootb, but it's inexcusable how a watch that costs 100$ less than the ZF is better than it in multiple aspects, after the ZF has been in development for 3 years, while the VSF came out of nowhere

In my opinion the only real thing that stands out is that the ZF is apparently fully made out of 904L steel. So if thats important the ZF is the watch to go for. Dial, insert and case are nothing exceptional.

Oh I know already...I just wanted to hear what your mealy mouthed excuses were since you’ve dismissed it as “over priced” already without even having one in hand. Yet on the other hand you’re saying it’s “the best ootb sub”, make your mind up.

No. Because its overpriced and doesnt offer anything over the less expensive ZZF and VSF.
Youre making it sound like ZF hands are amazing. They are worse than ARF.
