Thanks mate, yes this version does wear a little heavier and significantly thicker than the v5 PO.

The 1680 is still one of my fave, but I'm thinking more of modding the double red 1665 to a rail dial rather than further mod the 1680.

Watch looks really nice! AR is good, HE valve ok, decent pearl, no end link gaps, amazing engraving on the bracelet.

Awesome photos ! I have the same one on order and should be here early next week.
But now I'm not quite as excited to receive it since I decided to go for the gen 2500 instead and getting a custom strap made for it.
First time I had the v5 PO I found it a bit too heavy on the bracelet.

Think the gen will be a good investment as well, since prices are slowly going up since they have been discontinued.

I don't know if its going to be anotehr c&r for me or if I should keep the POc rep for a bit...but it is hard for me to wear it when I have a gen PO and a gen AT 8500.

Thanks mate, I sure understand how you feel. Before this rep came out, I've sold a significant number of reps and thinking to pickup a blue Bond Seamaster and stop for a while... now, I'm hooked again.

Great pics madcat, thanks for sharing. Must say it looks substantially better in your real life type photos than in the shoddy QC that were doing the rounds, confirms again that QC pics aren't really for nitpicking every minute detail. Your pics really bring out the details. Looks like a cracker, great build quality and even though it may have a few flaws it is fantastic to see such a well built out of the box Omega for a change, minimal mods needed on the 42mm I think... and the 42mm AR looks amazing, even that rotor looks surprisingly well done!

Great stuff! Now if only the post companies would hurry mine along a little

Thanks bro for the awesome pics! I'm definitely going to order a pumpkin after CNY! Still stacked between choosing the much better ARed looking and closer to gen 42mm or its larger sibling, the 45.5mm? Maybe send to Vac for re-AR, relume dial and most svc too!
