Holy smokes! The detail in the dial works excellent. Only big tell is the movement's balance wheel I suppose. I've tried on the gen many times but can't justify spending this much on another watch at the moment. Might have to pick this one up from one of our TD.

If I recall,

The balance wheel is located on the wrong side of the watch compared to a standard gen 8500 movement. Also gen has a black balance wheel. You can see the difference in this thread. I am very impressed with the quality of this watch though. Thank you for the beautiful photos.

No problem! It is a very small detail indeed and wouldn't stop me, but I'm building a franken PO at the moment lol. Congrats with your pickup.

It is so shiny that any dust just sticks out like a sore thumb. I'm constantly rubbing it off.
