Just got mine in from Sead. One month to the day of when I sent the first email. Not a fan of bracelets unless it’s a formal occasion, so it went on the leather immediately lol. Like many in this forum have said, of course the piece has it’s minor faults, but that’s not enough to stop me from enjoying it. It’s one of the nicest pieces I own- gen or rep.

anyone know how to get rid of the spots on the bezel that are visible in the first picture? they are all over it. it was very clean, and dust free when i took the shot. they can only be seen up close and in direct angled light like this. but its driving me nuts!

I ran the watch over the degausser, seems to have made an improvement. I'm now getting an average rate of -0.7 sec/day. This was over a weeks time on my wrist. I don't think it gets much better than that for a asia clone eta.

Change is a good thing...time to sport the LMPO on something new. Snagged this canvas strap from Barton for a test run.

I also figured out a way to use the free NATO that came with the LMPO. Dug my old Citizen Aqualand out for some wrist time. This was my 21st birthday present to myself 19 years ago. Unfortunately it has seen much action lately since I don’t get to dive much anymore.

Looks nice. What kind of spring bar tool do you have? I have a cheap one from ebay but the prongs broke on first use. I think it’s made from pot metal or something. It still kinda works anyway but using it is a pita.

It’s the Bergeon 6767-F. It’s well worth the price due it’s sturdy construction. Snagged mine off of Amazon for $20.

Hello all. I ordered the V6 based on this thread. However, after receiving the QC pics, I'm concerned the pearl is not centered. The quality of the QC pics are not as great as some of the other QC pics I've seen posted, so that may be part of the problem. Am I being too critical or is the pearl really off? Any thoughts on this would be really appreciated! Thanks!

I looks fine to me. Maybe it’s a bit low but that seems to be the case on all of them. The angle of the photo might not always be 100% straight on so it’s always hard to tell for sure if it’s a bit to one side or it’s just the angle. It may look a tiny bit off to the left but it might as well be the photo. I wouldn’t worry about it judging from that QC shot.

I think it’s just the ETA date wheel? At least I hope so. I bought a black ETA 2892 date wheel I plan to put in once the watch arrives.

I think you need the black date wheel with silver number, not white.

V6. Love it. Bezel movement seems a little easy once it gets going - is that normal?

Beautiful watch and the best job on the rep to date. I wouldn't worry as much about the tells as seeing one of these in the wild. An Omega guy knows what it is and probably a good ammount of watch heads do too. That alone would strike up a conversation with me if I saw one. Its hard to miss the liquidmetal shine. Again, great looking watch and enjoy it on your wrist.
