I am like one step to trigger one of 8500s.
The only thing stops me is a colour, cannot deicde which i like more. Are you able to tell me which of those has got flaws because of a colour? Normally, safer way is to have a blacl one, but this blue is just lovely...

There is another thread covering the Aqua Terra 150.....but okay....just to comment, have a look at the Omega logo on the watches currently out there. On many of them you see the right side leg being shorter than the left side leg.

This made me skip the Aqua Terra for now.

I do love the green version.

Look on Intime or Puretime, both green examples on there site have this issue.

SuperRep maybe........but VSF quality is still shit.

I went through 3 watches with Ryan and I am still not happy with the presented examples.

From spots on the hour markers, to spots on the chrome bezel or bezel numbers, markings on the wording on the case back....

Having finally cleared all these QC issues, the final breaking point was small markings on the backside of the lugs that apparenly come from VSF installing the bracelet.

Ryan and the factory confirmed that in this latest iteration all watches have this.

WHAT THE F*&^%!!!!

You get the watch scratched up from the factory, as these darn idiots are not able to assemble the watch scratch free???

Watches tend to collect scratches over time, but I rather make these myself.....not have factory do this for me!!!!

So now I have to accept these scratches, or change my watch order, or get a refund.

Really disappointed as really had set my heart on the Spectre.

:mad::mad::mad:

As usually with reps you pick your poison.

I was lucky enough to get a perfect example of the second batch sometime during early September, even if my bracelet still had TM on the clasp. If you get a good one you need to hold onto it.

I find very strange that now VSF appears to not know anymore how to install a bracelet as on mine it was installed with no markings between the lugs...

Listen, I am with you.

After 3 versions of the VSF Spectre and multiple emails back and forth with Ryan (or QC person), this is where I ended up.

The factory confirmed to Ryan that they are all like this, so accept current version, choose other watch or get refund.

I gave the same arguments to Ryan.....I don't understand why the factory suddenly started stratching up the lugs.

New Chinese workerbee, who does not know what he is doing???

Wonder if other TD might be able to source a scratch free version?

Like you said....by playing the rep game you pick your poisen.

Honestly, try with someone else, maybe Trusty, even if he's not a TD in here. Members who ordered from him since the last batch has been released have shown perfect QC pics.

All examples shown to me by Ryan had this issue. Some worse than others. So not sure if other TD at this moment will solve this. I guess I will wait wth re-ordering when the next batch is out.

Disappointed though......really disappointed.

Hi,
I'm totally new to this wold, but after reading through, I bought the spectre. I don't like wearing bracelets so I ordered the nato version. I received the watch last friday and have been enjoying it since.

2.https://picr.me/image/Cy1ge

Now, I have noticed two things after using it for a few days
1. When ever I pull the buckle to tighten the strap I get clicks form the pins, I can make the pins click by applying a little pressure on them, is this normal or should I look for new pins?
2. The lume "illuminates" very quickly.
3. When the watch is left in pitch darkness after a while the hands seem to loose their lume (it takes some effort to read where the hands are). Its very difficult to photograph this so wondering if any the buyers have also experienced this.

Other than these minor things its a really good watch, its currently running +3s per day.

cheers

Funnily enough I also recently noticed the "clicking pins" effect, I'm pretty sure it was not there in the beginning but came on only recently when I switched to the bracelet and then back to the Nato

By the way, can you please measure the inner steel bezel in yours?

Can you check for scratches on the backside of the lugs?

Just like to understand if your watch is scratch free. Thanks.

The inner chrome bezel issue is fixed in the latest batch.

absolutely no scratches anywhere on the watch. Please note that I never ordered it with the bracelet which might have caused the issues that you speak of.
