It wears definitely thinner then 8500 model, sitting down better on the wrist, that's why I am looking for one 2500 45mm.
Nice watch. I think 2200.50 would wear bigger than Rolex Deep Sea but not thicker.
But still. 17mm seems thick for 2200.50.

It was the v5 version which was about a few years ago , they took the gen parts
Not sure what factory made them , I waited about a year for one to come up back in 2015

Both look great.
Do you guys know if any good rep of 42mm planet ocean, preferably with matte dial, was made?
I’m a little hesitant to buy BP 45.5mm version. My left wrist is around 7.2inches. I have no problem with wearing 44mm panerai watches or 44mm Rolex Deep Blue but 45.5mm Planet ocean may be a little too wide.

The newer ceramic Noob POs in 42 are one of my favourites. A few have turned up in M2M recently. I had to grab one as I missed mine. Open CB with a mildly deco 2824. But as long as you are not to fussy about that detail they are a very well built watch.

For ref. I have a 7.5" - 7.75" wrist.

Good to know. I think noob planet ocean are still available from TDs but they are with shiny ceramic dial 1948 version. I think now TDs are making them as noob v12.

I had 42mm CRPO and 45.5mm PO and PO looking and sitting down better on the wrist.
Still regret to selling the PO 45.5MM.

Is that PO 45.5mm on the rubber? It Looks great. I wonder how it would look on shark mesh.
What size is your wrist?

Yes, it's 45.5mm model, my wrist is 6,5 inches, but it's more flat and ✋️ a bit bigger so I'm more comfortable with 45.5mm model than 42mm. I also tried 42mm UPO but it felt way too small.
I sold mine 45.5mm while ago and I regret since then, now I am looking for one in Europe to buy again.

If your wrist is 6.5 inch and it looks great on you I think I will be fine with 45.5mm. I like matte dial and entire old school look of this watch. I think I will get new batch of BP.
Recently I bought BP Rolex Deep Blue new batch and construction quality is on another level. Entire watch feels way more solid and premium than my VSF Rolex reps.

I have tried them on Shark and did not love them. Because the case is large the shark looks dwarfed. I have not tried them for years so I might try again soon to see the result.
