Are you aware that the production of fakes has been linked to terrorism, and is certainly a trade in countries where people are employed in horrendous circumstances to produce the piece of wrist-garbage you're considering buying?
If a fake is what you want, amongst watch enthusiasts is not the place you belong. Watch folks as a group are generally thoughtful, intelligent folks with a decent sense of morality and what's right. Owners of FAKES do not match that profile.

i almost sh*t myself when i read that post on 'risti this morning...i mean come on, it's like walking right into the lyon's den and saying please eat me....i will say that they generally seem to be great guys, but jesus do they play the high and mighty card sometimes...

the comment about being a "watch guy" by owning a gen is funny.... 95% of the people that buy reps are "watch guys" and MAYBE half of Panerai owners could be lumped in the same category.

I better take my Swiss 6497 off my wrist as apparently they don't exist and if they did they keep bad time. :shock: Maybe we all don't really exist and I am reading this in the MATRIX :roll:

That’s exactly why I never really felt comfortable posting there…they are definitely a great resource (and a lot of great people), but how many pics do I really need to see of some guy driving his sports car with his PAM hanging out the window…maybe that's just how those guys roll...and it's certainly not all of them, but I can't help feeling sometimes like a lot of those guys are suffering from big pen*s syndrome...

Actually my Davidsen Fiddy is like a friggin quartz watch-PERFECT- My gen 111G runs + - 20 sec a day, can't seem to get it any closer... My rep 111H runs pretty fast lately- a minute fast per day... not that it matters- Though better than my rep Planet Ocean that, after being rock solid for a few weeks, is now 2 minutes fast A DAY...
Also my 104 rep with the 7750 Hi Beat is an almost PERFECT timekeeper as well...
