Not to start any crap or anything, but is "best" avatar really only about scantly dressed women? I mean for that reason, why not just put up pics of porn?

I personally think avatar's are cool ways of people relating who a person is and what they are like. I like the ones that are animated and have cool themes. I just don't get how women in underwear are considered the best avatar. That's like saying the best painting is of a porn star. It doesn't make sense to me. Who knows maybe I am alone in this.

That being said, here is one of my favs from higgy:

Someone asked if anybody is keeping score,this thread shoud run till the end of the weekend,let as many people comment on the avatars as can be,then D4M can pick the most popular 10 or so and make a poll that can run next week...unless there is another plan...

maybe people can start chiming in with a handfull of there favorites outside of there own so it can be easier to narrow down a top ten...

Yeah, I don't mind a good looking woman, just didn't see how that was original or anything to be considered a good avatar. You can find millions of pics of women on the net.

Now just to be clear, are their any rules? I mean could I change my avatar to something I think people will like or it is based on the avatar someone had at the beginning of the contest? Some people change their avatar more than they change their watch. Just wondering?

OK here is an Avatar for you completely with RWI history...shortly after I joined we had a converstion about the bay area. I mentioned that I lived to the south and Takashi wanted a picture of the Golden Gate bridge, so Crick drew him one and Tak used it for a long time..It's my favorite one cause it always makes me laugh and I remember when it was first posted cause it was posted in the thread when I received my very first rep. Good memories.
