Hello everyone!
I'm new here, I do not know if I'm writing the message in the right place, but you're probably going to help me.
I purchased an IWC Portugues tourbillon, the watch has not yet come out to me, and I have not confirmed delivery because there are some things I need to find out before.
Where can I ask questions about?
Thank you for your help

If the watch is already purchased and shipped, it's kinda late for questions, wouldn't you say? But yeah, you've come to right place. Let's hear your questions. [emoji6]

Hello and thanks!
I bought an IWC Portugues Tourbillon watch, which means I already paid and made an order, but I still have not given permission to send it to me, because there are some things I need alone before.
My brother bought the older model of the IWC Portugis Turbillon in the past, and after a short period of time the flying wheel started loosening and he sent it back to China for repair.

Now I wanted to buy one, and discovered that there is the same watch with a new mechanism.and there the flying wheel attaching with screws, but when I ordered the watch I saw that it was different from what my brother had bought but still he was not with screws just with a pin and I wanted to know if I had anything To worry about what happened to my brother or not?

I attach pictures sent to me from the factoryIMG_3982.JPG IMG_6681.JPG

And it also seems that the flying wheel is bigger than the pin that catches it.

I think it's just a cap on top of screw. So underneath it has a screw holding the rotor.

Same like the Portuguese 7 days.

Puretime just uploaded an updated steel version without a self-winding mechanism and a more gen-like manual-wind movement decoration, only a matter of time until they have them in gold as well.

wow ! this is really the same as the original !!!
my question is:
1. Is this preferable to the automatic tuner (except that it is the same as the original)?
2. I already made an order and paid with a credit card. Can I cancel my order?
3. Or if puretime can do this manual model then the rest can do too, and I can demand from the person I ordered him to do this model for me as well?

It's just preference. I would prefer the manual wind, but neither one is going to convince someone who knows IWC that it's gen. I'm not sure if you'd be able to change at this point, especially since the gold version might not even be out yet.

o.k thanks.
So let's sort things out like this:
I'm basically satisfied with the watch I ordered, it's very nice and beautiful, the finish level is high (I can also attach the rest of the pictures they sent me).
Only one thing bothers me, do I have to worry that the "flying wheel" will fall or be loose, because somehow it seems to me that the pin is smaller than the circle around it, and I do not know whether to fear it or not.
The main reason I'm afraid is because my brother bought the previous version of this watch (I'll attach a picture) and his "flying wheel" slips and becomes slack, and I'm afraid it will happen to me as well.

We usually call that the rotor. It's not likely to happen and is a relatively easy fix.

After a few sleepless days and concerns about the customs, today I finally received this beauty that I purchased in the M2M:

Very nice watch. Thought you might like a slightly lighter pic in addition to your mood shot. :)

Your question made me look up exactly what a Tourbillon is . My watch simply has an exposed balance.

*does walk of shame*

Don't be too hard on yourself. Happens to the best of us. You do have a chance at redemption by getting a true tourbillon. Trust me, you'll never see other movements the same way again. [emoji6]

By the powers, assumed and otherwise, vested in me as Primus Inter Pares of this noble club, I hereby accept you as a member. And you have seriph to thank for that inestimable honor - your entry photo was a damn travesty, until he posted a better one. Very nice watch, too. Welcome. [emoji16]
