They need to fix the 4 o'clock hour marker on the Portugieser Tourby and remove the automatic complication.

Mine arrived DOA, super boo.... Sending back to China .. Sucks shit. But the dial and movement looked fantastic ...

DOA! That really sucks! But looks great! What does it weigh? Strap is gen croc? How is theprint on the clasp? The pics from the sites looked very poor??? Which dealer!?
That's quite a bummer. It was for fear of such a disaster that I asked my TD to hold on to my JLC Tourby for observation for 72 hours and ensure it's working fine. I only approved QC after he assured me it's working fine. Patience is a great virtue in this hobby.
Weight is on the light side. Strap is gen croc, printing on clasp I didn't look closely though... The engraving on the rotor and movement looked fantastic, better then the previous one . (Fa jones just launched few months back)
I got it from a great guy who is not a TD here. He actually takes videos of water proofing and leaves the watches to run for 12 hours before sending out . It was working fine in the videos and when he sent out. Had bought over 10 watches from him and 2 of my tourbys were from him. I had initially wanted to buy the Previous IWC instead of VC but none of the watches he tested were water proof. So I ended up with the VC.
In the videos this time, I Saw the power reserve on the video drop overnight from 7-5 before it was sent out. When it arrived the power reserve was at 3 , might have been damaged while transporting , though it was packed nicely. So blame it on my luck. My first DOA in 30 watches.
Can't wait for it to arrive.
