I love this model but the faint Audemars Piguet text really kills it for me, I'm not sure if I am imagining things but it looks like the latest models have updated dials with much bolder text.
Was looking at getting this but noticed that in the tourbillon area, your top gear that dips down is gold which is like the gen, but on Toro's page they are silver gears dipping down, where did you get yours from?

This has been torn apart completely overhauled and yes I had the hour wheel modded That piece was a simple fix. It is chrome plated brass so all the watchmaker did was remove the chrome Over 72 hour power reserve now and completely accurate
I was hoping you'd come back and say, so and so TD has it like that. lol Very nice mod, I think that is the biggest tell on them, that hour wheel that tips down from the top is supposed to be gold to match the rest. I think it also throws off the color having silver and gold in the center area. I was thinking about getting it in RoseGold with a blue face so it was more of a gold and blue watch with the gold gears in the center but that one silver gear annoys me. So I guess I will hold off on getting it then for now as I really don't want to try to mod a tourby lol.
Went through this entire thread, amazing watches!! For all the tourby owners on here, can you post some links to your favorite tourby videos? I clicked a few video links and they were down. Still trying to decide on which tourby to start with or if I should buy 2 regular watches. Very tempted to join this club.
New join to the club! Glashutte Senator Tourbillon
After a long order, QC and then receiving a broken watch, I have finally received my Breguet. I hope I can finally join the Club.
I had 2 broken ones = DOA, before I got one that worked... that then also broke after a week, in the end I gave up and got my money back. Its a nice watch, but it SO light!
It makes me so happy this thread is still alive! Gotta love tourbys.
What's up B.! Long time no see.
Yooo!! Its definitely been a while. I'm glad to see that theres still some active folk from way back when
The first one I had I accepted while sitting in a casino in Vegas. Luckily, after coming back to hotel room I had another look and noticed that one of hour dots was missing.
Second one had some yellow gel in the bottom of the dial.
The third one was ok, but when it arrived the rotor was off and some black fluff appeared on the dial. I am happy to say that all issues have been fixed and the watch has been running fine for the past few weeks.
I do fancy grey manual wind IWC tourbillon as I am a sucker for sunburst dials.
