Hi Gentleman,

Can you tell where I can obtain a Strap for Ploprof - my Ploprof is on the way but IT Has only mesh bracelet and I would like to get also the rubber Strap.

Sorry for offtop but I want that my Ploprof can be shortly a part of the Ploprof family

I found only one in Europe but used and cutted so Im waiting to get the watch in order to know if the length will be sufficient.

Btw are there any differences between the gen and replica strap?

Hello all! Hope everyone is keeping safe and well.

I'm a long time lurker and ploprof owner, came across this page when googling for some answers to a few questions.

Spent a good hour reading thought the thread and I can safely assume that getting parts for this is going to be impossible, so I'll just deal with the cracked bezel insert!

Also, was there ever a gold version produced? I saw one a while ago and thought it looked quite nice, but reading through the thread it wasn't clear if any were produced in gold.





Not entirely sure of the version I have but I think its a V1. The only thing I need to do is the clasp fix and I'll be 99% happy again. It'll be 100% if I ever find a new bezel!

I must honestly say that this thing has been the most worn watch in my rotation this month. I remember being hesitant about the size, how it would wear, etc. I genuinely love this thing, just as I love my Gen SMP and Mido Compression Diver.

It's a great homage to the 166.xxxx. I wore it in Thailand and met an ex-pat with the orig plorprof 166 and we concluded the watches are long lost fraternal twins.
