I tried taking pics the first day I noticed it in the sunlight but my camera couldn’t capture it.
Well 🤔 so...and after that day you did not notice again? Or is it still showing up? Maybe you can try another cam?

Without pics it's really hard to give you a comment on your problem.

You could remove the Movement and clean it from the inside.

No it’s every time it’s in the sunlight. I don’t have access to another camera but I will see what I can do.

As far as taking it apart to clean, I don’t have the skill or knowledge how to do that without risking messing something up.

@RobSe1 Sorry to dig up an older comment, but hoping you may still be able to post comparison pictures of the C+ and V9, if you have both. I am trying to make the decision between the 2, and want to go with the best option. According to my TD, he prefers the V9F, and based on the last 20 pages here that seems like a really good option. But your reviews of the C+ are also very convincing. If you still have both, I would love to hear your thoughts on the differences between the two. Thanks!

It seems like there are a lot of pics of the C+ and very few of the latest V9F. I would love to see some pics of the most current V9 136660.

C+ is 126660
V9 is 136660

The changes on 136660 are:

- Slimmer Ceramic insert
- Crystal has a different shape of the edge and has Single AR coating
- wider Datewindow
- different Caseback

C+ uses ARF parts which are top notch. They also have correct length of Hands.
V9 is also absolutely high quality. Not sure if they changed the parts above or only the caseback. But those changes are soooo small, besides the caseback, its not really a thing imo.

When i get my C+ (should come next week) we can upload some pics to compare them.

Here we go Gentleman, welcome to "youth researches" on the topic:

What's inside in the C+ 126660 Deepsea?

First of, it's a great watch and the Quality of the parts great, also compared to the gen. The "Build Quality" could be improved imo, meant to the caseback gasket and Bezel.

For all of you finding the Bezel action is loose or wobbly and on some points grindy...i think this is caused by the retaining ring not seated correctly and the hyrtel ring quality (maybe a tad too thinn, it turns really easy).

Ok lets start:

You may notice the Caseback is not fully screwed down on your watch. This is caused by a white teflon ring/gasket which sits underneath the screw down caseback part. You'll see it in the pics coming.
This is not "bad" just a too thick gasket. to solve it you would need too shave it down or remove it. By removing it, maybe water resistance could be affected.

Dial and hands are superb. They hit the blue too black shade very good. There are better ones, maybe (V9/BP) But this is definitly no let down if you want the D-Blue. The Dial is stunning.
Hands Quality is also great. 3D effect and no sharp edges.
Here you can also see the white teflon gasket i mentioned above.

Here some pics of the Case, Bezel and insert. Insert is pressure fit and can easily removed with some care and a razer knife. The insert quality is great.
They are using a gen spec ball bearing system, be careful not to loose those tiny balls ^^

Some more pics of the Hyrtel Ring, Bezel and the crystal retaining ring which is pressed around the crystal gaskete. Here your Bezel sits on, the hyrtel ring is sitting under the edge.

Here you can see the HEV Ventil which sits behind the pressed in "OGEV" Ring. And you can see again the caseback teflon gasket.

And a summery of all "case parts"

I would not recommend to remove/pop of the Bezel, because your retaining ring will come off, too. and due too the poor Crystal gasket its a pita to get it back. It's also propably not possible to snap the Bezel back on. I think like on the ARF you need to put the retaining ring in the Bezel and press the complete unit back on. But due too a raises lip on the Bezel you cant press it fully down...i think i'll need to 3d print a special diye to catch the retaining ring in the small gap better.

I hope you enjoyed the pics and it will give you some insights to a Deepsea construction :)

Hi Macarone, I like to buy one of this , what manufacturer and or version like 116660 126660 or 136660 you think is the best. I like the 136660 but the use still the old cover, not the Titanium .

My apologies. I thought you implied you had both. I appreciate your response. In that case, since you chose the C+, what were your deciding factors? Which has a more accurate dial color and gradient? I have seen a few complaints with the bezel rotation on the C+, but I'm sure there are plenty that haven't had any issues.

I don't necessarily like one more than the other, just want to go with which ever has the best overall quality. It seems like both of these may be very comparable, with the main differences being the reference number (as long as V9F has most of the 13 details correct and not a mix of ref). I am definitely open to opinion and recommendation. I've been playing this rep game for a really long time, so I just like to do enough research to buy the right one the first time.

No Problem :)

personally i would go with C+. Overall compared to gen it is closer than V9. Hand length, Case, Bezel... Bracelet is ARF which is really good.
Dial Colour is nearly identical, V9 is maybe a tad better but C+ is still great.

The Problem with the Bezel is a QC problem. I think they were in a rush releasing the batch before CNY. Its not a Problem in general.

Hope this helps you :)

That does help a lot. And again, I appreciate it. I will check with my TD. Right now, there seems to be some concerns with working out shipping to the US, to avoid additional costs, but hopefully that will all be resolved soon.

Youre welcome :)

Yes, actually i'm not sure if they can/will ship to the US from China....i think it will need some time to get things sorted and find a new "safe way"

You could ask maybe Sead, he also has an UK stock. Maybe Shipping from UK to US will work better?

Bingo. Sead is the man. I actually have a couple of other watches on the way from him, routing from China through UK and hopefully ending up in TX. He wants to ensure this works out and arrives without any issues before we order whichever DeepSea I decide on.

Question - does anyone know if there are aftermarket crystal options for the Deep Sea? Deep doesn't sell one. I'm not sure if any of the ones available on Ebay etc would be any better than the rep.

I do see a number of gens on ebay for around 150 that have scratches - possible for those to be buffed by a jeweler?
