Well, my James Cameron seadweller deep sea it’s going back to Andiot. There’s something wrong underneath the bezel where it binds. I was just gonna try to fix that locally, but then today out in the sunlight I know if there’s dirt or dust underneath the lens I thought it was on the outside :-(

Stupid autocorrect. It was supposed to say I noticed dirt or dust underneath the lens.

I think you need to calm a bit Mate, not meant rude or in a bad way :)

The Bezel action is caused by the teflon hyrtel ring. Thats a widely spreaded problem with reps, not only for this Model or C+ Factory. Maybe need a new one or use fish line instead and it's fixed. Sometimes they get a dent from pressing back. This will cause your problems.

Dirt can also happen with every rep.

If you use a watchmaker from our Forum they'll be able to fix all this and make it great again :)

Shipping back to China is risky! there is a high risk the watch gets lost. I wouldnt do it.

That’s a good idea about the watchmakers here instead of having it go back to China. I’ll do a search for one here.

In your experience, does switching out the Hytrel ring mean that it usually needs a fishing line that is slightly larger in cross section than what’s already on the watch? Or slightly smaller? Trying to figure out what fishing line I want to try without buying a whole bunch…0.067 or 0.065 in seem to be quoted for Subs but not sure if deepseas are the same.

Need some help. I have a 126660 gen Rolex case with crystal, crown, bezel, caseback. I Purchased a c+ for the movement to swap over. I have scoured the Internet to see a gen with the case back out and the movement inside to see how it's held in. The vr movement is loose in the case and neither 3135 case screws or 3235 screws with ears work. I am wondering if there is a spacer or something I am missing with my gen case or if I may have gotten a franken gen case where the compression spacer is not correct.

So basically if anyone has a gen 126660 can send me a picture with the case back off. Thanks in advance.

Normally the hyrtel can be used again. But if its damaged you need to replace it or use the fishline instead. You would need to try some sizes which you would prefere. If its too thick the bezel turns too strong.
Best would be if you know someone who is fishing, so he could cut some different sizes for you.
I would take a little bit a thicker one than the hyrtel.
I would try the sub sizes, then you will see if you need a thinner or thicker one.

How is everyone finding the C+ vs the Noob V10 A3235
I feel like the Noob has better length hands

C+ is 126660
V9 is 136660

The changes on 136660 are:

- Slimmer Ceramic insert
- Crystal has a different shape of the edge and has Single AR coating
- wider Datewindow
- different Caseback

C+ uses ARF parts which are top notch. They also have correct length of Hands.
V9 is also absolutely high quality. Not sure if they changed the parts above or only the caseback. But those changes are soooo small, besides the caseback, its not really a thing imo.

When i get my C+ (should come next week) we can upload some pics to compare them.

Sorry to dig up an older comment, but hoping you may still be able to post comparison pictures of the C+ and V9, if you have both. I am trying to make the decision between the 2, and want to go with which ever one is best. Do both have the same lug width/bracelet width?

Are they both 21mm? It seems like there are a lot of pics of the C+ and very few of the V9F. I would love to see some pics of the most current V9 136660.

Hey mate, hope this is helpful.

116660 bracelet/lug width = 21 mm
126660 and 136660 = 22 mm
126660 and 136660 also have a wider clasp than the 116660
126660 seconds and minutes hands are longer than the 11
126660 and 136660 compression ring font is different to the 116660
136660 bezel sits flatter than 11 and 12
136660 crystal is slightly more protruded than the 11 and 12
136660 date window is slightly larger than the 126660 and it sits further to the right
136660 case back is completely different to 11 and 12
126660 sits flatter on the wrist than the 11, and the 136660 sits flatter than the 12
136660 no longer has the flip lock extension on the bracelet
136660 no longer has "Sea-Dweller" on the dial from around mid-2024 onwards (not that this is important

I don't have the C+ or V9F, but if they don't match up with the the above, then they are inaccurate.

This is great info! I appreciate you sharing these details. I'm working with my TD trying to decide which one to go with.

Hi everyone,

A few months ago, I discovered my growing interest in the DSSD models. I've been looking specifically for the Rolex Deepsea Challenge. I came across WBK as a seller, but to be honest, I find their version a bit too simple for my taste — it doesn't quite capture what I'm looking for.

Do you have any trusted sellers you would recommend for a higher-quality DSSD Challenge?

Thanks in advance!
