I got my BP 126660 a few days ago and I can confirm it’s an amazing rep. There are a few updates with this version vs. older BP 126660. Now we have correct pear that matches 126660. Older BP 126660 had perl from 116660. BP updated crystal and crystal height. Older BP 126660 had crystal that was slightly too tall.
Dial is SPOT ON! Including DEEP SEA. There are comparisons between older BP 126660 dial and gen and it’s pretty much as good as it can get.
Case and construction fills very solid, entire watch feel more solid that my VSF LN and LV subs.
Movement is clone 3235. I ordered ETA but Sead sent me clone 3235. I guess BP doesn’t sell 126660 with ETA movement. I’m wonder if eventually I will be able to swap it to VR3235??
@SS72 ?
Bracelet was very dry and felt cheap but after batch in WD40 and then in hot water it feels great and solid. Clasp for some reason requires some force to close it. I think after a while it will get better.
Hands are still slightly too short, maybe just 1mm. It’s noticeable in photos but not to a naked eye. It actually doesn’t bother me. Inner rehaut it’s almost aligned, maybe it needs to be moved 0.5mm to the left, sometimes it looks perfect but when you look at it on certain angle it looks like it could be moved tinny but to the left - no big deal. I saw gen JC with similar misalignment.
Date in the DW is perfectly aligned, unfortunately pics don’t show it well.
Bezel color is very black which is great but numbers are slightly too thin and I wish they could be slightly brighter. They look quite good when light is hitting them but they should be slightly thicker.
Color of the steel seems spot on, better than VSF reps which are slightly too dark comparing to gen.
It seems BP nailed it with steel color. Shade of steel of my BP Airking is exactly the same as this 126660 which is great.
Overall it’s a great rep. Highly recommend, feels very solid and dial looks amazing even in dark room.
