Look at the actual leather - you can tell it's printed calf and not gen gator.

If you look at genuine panerai straps or even aftermarket makers such as orloff, donerix, Jacob, etc - you can see the scales of the gator. When I get to a computer I will try to find the thread from a while back that discusses the differences visually. It's the grooves of the faux scales that give it away. This is a typical rep strap.

See if you can get your money back. If not chalk it up as the cost of a lesson learned. These guys have been questioned both here and on gen forums in the past and always found to be dealing rep straps with rep OP packaging.
