Recently watched a Utube vid that had a guy wearing a watch that really appealed to me. A little research and the watch is an Oakley Minute Machine. Before you all say it, I understand most of you are discussing rep's of much higher end time pieces. I got that. But safe to say anything above the 1k mark is outside of what I can justify.

I only stumbled on a couple of dealers that show them on their site. None of the review vid's are in English. The one I looked at was around $200 bucks. http://www.watchesloveu.com/high-quality/replica-oakley-watches.html , http://www.watchesoppo.com/wholesale-watches/oakley-minute-machines-swiss-eta_9772_p.html Still expensive for me, but do-able. Even at that price point it wont be a "lesson learned" throw away item. So I figure I should do a little more research (enter RWI).

It's really more the band on this watch I like more than anything else. So of the available faces none are deal breakers. I am actually a Railroad Conductor. So a working watch for me is not just a "Want" it's a "Need" and required by rule for my job.

I am not seeing this particular watch listed with the RWI recommended dealers. At this point I am open to any advice or guidance.

Thanks in advance
Bryan

Welcome to RWI Bryan.

You probably will never see a watch in this price range repped. Take Hamilton for example, I've only seen two of their watches as REPS.

If you are looking for a nice REP to wear at work take a look at this thread: http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php?t=179242.
These watches are all quartz REPS and will be the most accurate and reliable . The TAG Aquaracer shown in the thread is one of the most GEN like of the REP's offered by the dealers. Quartz REPs get very little love on RWI, the purist all go for Automatic watches.

There are reliable and accurate Automatic REP's but the cost of these REP's start at 250.00 and go up from there, which I believe is over your budget.

Happy Hunting.

Are the sites I linked reputable? Any experience with them? And 300 would probably be top of the budget for me and this watch.

I think I saw this watch on the puretime website but check with angus. Get his info from his TD area.

So far it seems as though you are doing your homework and not just coming out with 'who has what I want!?'.
The TDs here are what they are- tested and trusted, anything else is a crap shoot and most likely a scam. With the connections that the TDs have you should be able to get anything as long as it's being Rep'd so if they can't then the site that you were originally looking at is a scam!
Let youself down easy that the watch you want doesn't exist by perusing the TDs sites-I bet you'll find something! And since you're going for looks(me too),you won't be put off by the inaccuracies of a watch to its original.
Spend some time looking, then read some reviews on a TD or 2 to determine which one you would like to go with and then contact them to see if they have it in stock.

Congrats! You are ahead of the game. A lot of us here found rwi a few steps later than you. Saw a watch we had to have, realized it was about $XXX above our budgeted, googled replica x watch, saw a picture of a genuine watch on a non-td website, pulled the trigger, and got either nothing, a pos watch, or something completely different then what they ordered, then found rwi and posted that experience as their first post.

Thanks for the feedback and advice.

Most anything I decide to get into anymore. I search for forums on the subject. It's not uncommon that by the time I purchase something I know as much, or more than the seller about the item. I suspect that probably wont be the case with a rep'd watch. Just because there are so many small variables involved. And it would take me a significant amount of time to rifle through all the info here at RWI.

Are there people who just rep band's? Really (I know not everyone's cup-o-tea) it's was the band, that attracted me to the watch in the first place.

I was unable to open Puretime. And it looks like other people cant open the site either.

Im guessing he didnt. I have been looking for a MM for ages because i like big watches and the mm is huge but sadly its titanium so alot lighter than i would like but i also want to find one the problem being if you buy one real secondhand there is no way to know its real really so i want a replica because its not the best watch to be blowing £1500 on

Sorry that's a gen...I should have been more clear. I used to be big into Oakley watches but I sold most of the collection with the exception of the minute machine and a couple others.

Yep same here. Had then sold a lot of oakley stuff, but I never got a minute machine and I still want one!
