I have a Yamaha RX-V861 Receiver. I do not have a media computer installed yet.. but I am working on an old laptop that I will feed into my Receiver or Sony PS3. The Speakers are Mirage OmniSat and the Remote I am using is a Harmony 880 (I love it!) .

I was thinking of a popcorn wagon but did not want to take up too much room to where I wouldnt be able to create my stripper stage and stripper pole. I will likely buy a Galaga Arcade game (my favorite!).

The other side has an office (my wife has it overrun with her rubber stamp [s:1v16mukx]shit[/s:1v16mukx] collection and about 1/3 of the way into the room against the wall I have my black glass table with light tent permanently setup and all my photo and watch gear setup.

I will also be building a shrine to Jenna Jamison down there too.. complete with an 80" billboard of me between Jenna.. as shown below..

Enough about Jenna! Look at that TV! Ah Gawd!
I feel for you.
Daytona, I have owned Mirage speakers in the past, very nice. Their headquaters are only about an hour from me. Which has become a part of Klipsch.

@D4M: if you do decide to get the popcorn wagon, I"d recommend the 860 watt ones. The 640 watt wagon is just as cute, but relatively underpowered, and more suitable for attractively dispensing popcorn that got popped on the stove than for actual popping of corn.

@brtelec: has nothing to do with condoms, if that's what you're thinking. Rubber stamps are used liberally in scrapbooking and card making. And because it is a highly addictive hobby, especially when one gets into embossing, it doesn't take long to amass way more rubber stamps than one would ever use in a lifetime.

@Mike29983: did you also take a picture of the laceration the guy sustained when he shattered your screen?

@everyone: I actually watched a Jenna Jamison documentary once. I'm sure her boobs would make her very popular on this forum.

Ehr, no where close to the gen. But they were ridiculously huge in size, which should appeal to all of the apparently near-sighted Panerai fans out there.

no i didnt because he didnt hurt himself, the TV dropped on my couch table.
so no humans were harmed
and the glass is only broken inside directly above the plasma panel.
you cant see it good on the pics, but the outside-glass is alright.
the only good thing about this is, that im going to get me a full HD TV now :)

Hey

Figured I'd chime in too - I have a home theater in my basement as well, and it's an eclectic basement at best. I am a big movie/Batman fan, ever since seeing Adam West, I think - and I dabbled in comic art as well over the years, so some of that is down there too.

So, my basement is a retreat where i have my MAC, Home Theater, some movie collectibles, and posters - I have limited space too, so it was a challenge to fit things around the support poles, which I decided to dress up in an "iron girder" sort of motif, that I carried throughout parts of the basement.

So. here it is!

One of my comic paintings i did, and Boba Fett in the corner. I made that for my son one halloween.

Yeah, doesn't everyone have a life size 1989 Batman Replica?
web.jpg

And more movie props - is there even a theater down here?

Hey - my wall of fame!! - Wow!!, Look! It's me and Van Damme!!- Adam West, Too!!

Sorry - hard to take pictures with the projector on

Yes,, she was a severely underpaid stamping up demonstrator for 4 years. I think everything in my house has been embossed, rock-n-rolled, kissed, water colored & thwacked! It got to a point where I threatened to hold her at gun point and burn everything to the ground if she even mentioned stamping.. lol

Here tolerance of my watches pales in comparison to my tolerance over the years for that stuff..

Oh, D4Me, how long do you think it's going to take before someone pounces on that line of very descriptive sounding verbs?

I will say that you do show a great deal of support to your wife's hobby to have learned all of that terminology, so hopefully she supports your hobby as well. I'd imagine that we could extrapolate some of those terms (like kissed and thwacked) to apply to some of those Panerai enthusiasts as well.

Sorry, guy. I don't know anything about all the stuff you have in your basement. But I do know all about rubber stamps. :)

Damn, me too, at this point!!

Okay, thanks for giving me my first RWI generated giggle of the day.

In that case, you might as well reserve a little corner of your basement to set up your own rubber stamping station. But be warned. That little station can grow fast.

Hmm - I always felt there was a part of the basement longing for something...now I know!

I'll have to cast aside my Bedazzler station though - - -

Good grief, you keep talking about Bedazzlers and I might have to share my token female award with you! :)
