...please don't think your time will be wasted.

I have known about replicas, knockoffs, and faulexes for 20+ years. Today, I was hit up on Facebook by a targeted add by a Company called Brodo Watch (probably a scam). They had some replica Rolex for $299 with 25% off and it looked FANTASTIC!!!! Then I started a 6-hour journey of discovery that puts me right here. I may have way overcomplicated all of this or is may be this complicated. At this point, I sincerely do not know. I have hit several websites, looked at the spreadsheet, browsed the TDs (see learning the lingo), and have no idea most of the lingo.

I really have a simple question - is there a mentor or shephard program for someone who is sincerely interested in delving into this replica world and making a first purchase? I am not lazy, but a lack of knowledge is incredibly frustrating. I am someone who, in another area of expertise is always eager to be that mentor or shepherd.

Anyhow, any takers?

Thanks in advance if you made it this far.

Hello and WELCOME from the official RWI reception desk!

You are receiving this introduction because you either posted in the "new members say hi" section or —for the first time(s)— elsewhere. In the latter case, consider introducing yourself in the aforementioned section.

If you haven't already, please make sure to read all relevant sticky threads. They contain important and essential information such as the forum rules! Most importantly the sales rules, because you will NOT yet be eligible / allowed to sell unless you meet certain criteria / are certified first.

A good starting point is this list of resources on RWI:

Please also take another look at this important sticky that you should already have seen after logging on for the first time:

This quick anti-fraud guide is essential if you are about to order from a dealer for the first time:

If you need any further assistance, feel free to contact me or @Feefo!

We will gladly help, but please allow some time for PM responses as we have lifes outside of RWI!

Welcome. I know that it can seem overwhelming but you are in the right place. Starting in this section and reading the stickies posted is a great starting point. I would recommend that you peruse the brands section and look for details about the brands and models you may be interested in as there are metric tons of reviews and detailed conversations about this model and that. A bit of research and a good TD can make your first experience a good one.

If you have questions, the flame free zone in this section is The best place to ask away (just don’t ask for who makes the best sub 😅). And if all else fails a lot of members can be newb / noob friendly. Even me 😉.

Once again welcome.

Welcome dude. Couple things I have learned in my short time here - 1) become a supporter, it will give you credibility and just the right thing to do 2) buy M2M from the US if possible at least to start, decent chance a watch from overseas gets seized at customs and at best will take ages to arrive 3) no one talks about fight club.

Good luck

Or delete your profile now and save the 10k you'll burn through in the first couple of months obsessively buying everything. Both good plans.

I see this submariner I might be interested in the for sale section, but this member is acting a smidge too sketchy for me. It is priced right, but got some red flags. My typical luck

So bide your time, wait for the right sale with the right seller. Don't cheap out if you're after a sub first get a top tier like a vsf first spend the extra few hundred and do it right. There are a ton of watches that pop up every day you'll have something great on your wrist by the end of next week. Just be patient and read about your seller.

Funny we are having THIS conversation and you replied in the other thread when you found out who the sell is. Thanks for saying something. Helps alleviate some fears.

Hi rickabolt,

I'm new here too, and would love to help with my purchasing experience with step-by-step screenshots. Do note in no ways am I affiliated with any TD's (Trusted Dealers) or promoting them.

Firstly at RWI page, click the button "TRUSTED DEALERS" at the top of the page.

To buy replica watches, click on the link I've circled. This will lead you to the list of all TD's approved by RWI.

I recently just made my very first purchase from a TD called CTime. If you have a preferred TD, you can choose to click on their name. For this sake, I've chosen CTime.

Click on this link to head to his Contact page.

This page displays his contact info and some useful information. Clicking on the link will direct you to his website.

This is his website. There are too many to choose from so let's filter your preferred watch. At the very top of his webpage, move your cursor over to "SHOP", and a box will drop down. You can play around with the filters under Watch, Accessories or Factory. For this sake, I chose Rolex.

Now you'll see all Rolex watches. To further filter to your preferred Model, look at the left side of the webpage. Note the dropdown button for each brands. For this sake, I chose Daytona.

Now you'll see all variations of the Daytona such as model number, colour and factory. At the bottom of the page you can slowly view all the variations CTime can provide. For this sake, I chose the 126519 model from Clean Factory.

Once you click on the model you like, you'll be brought to a page where it will show you close-up pictures of it. Scrolling down will show you more details of this model (what I've circled). Once you are ready, scroll back up, Click "ADD TO CART" and then checkout.

Enter all your details, choose your preferred payment mode then place order. Alternatively, at the bottom-left of the webpage you can contact CTime via WhatsApp or their Chat function. I personally did not try that.

That's it for the screenshots. After I placed order, I received email from CTime on my order confirmation. Shortly after, CTime contacted me via WhatsApp and we liased from there. After payment confirmation, it took about 1 week for the QC photos. It can vary based on the model and if he already have on hand. All in all it took slightly more than 2 weeks for me to receive my watch.

Needless to say, I am very very happy with my watch and thanks CTime for his amazing service! Hope this could help you relief some doubts and/or anxiety; I definitely had them as well initially but now I'm good. Happy to help answer any queries you have for me. All the best!

If you find a mentor please let me know. I live in SC and trying to get into the rep scene. I've got about 20 low to mid-grade watches but have always been googly-eyed when it comes to Rollies, but could never justify the $$$. I ordered my first DD a couple of days ago from a TD recommended on RWI. So far so good, with communication. There are 2 more reps I have my eyes on (thanks to this forum damnit) but I'm going to see how well the 1st txn goes. It seems like whenever a question is asked, it always refers you back to the noob page. Hell, I'm still trying to learn how to 📌 a page for quick reference. We'll anyway good luck!

Incredibly comprehensive. Thank you. I have spent more time on TD websites than I would like to admit. It is an unhealthy amount. Still working it out.
