Live1 posted quite a few times regarding his experimentation with Platinum Paint Mod, here's what I found, not easy to follow, you may want to search this thread for more clarity.

the exact name of the paint is called anitas all purpose metalic permanent platinum craft paint.it had a blue thing on the label.its permanent as i used a towl to try and rubb it off it dont come...

yes its permanent bro.u can remove it with alcohol but it damages the stock white paint.so then u would need to use white acrylic paint first then platinum,but if you have to use the white acrylic it...

it still rubs off.testors flat steel enamel with testors dull cote lacquer is the official paint for the mod and still rubs off after a while and starts to look tatty.there is no mod that can emulate...

FYI
For my bezel mod I used Polly Scale MetalLine Series Water Base Metallics - Stainless Steel, watered down, but it isn't permanent and I used it on a cheapy SubC that needed as much help as I could give it.
