noob v3 disappointed

I've gotta say after reviewing royski's photos that this rep has made it pretty far.

Live, if the Sub C truly is your passion you should just chase down a gen insert/bezel and new dial. Hands will likely need a relume. After these updates your set. That's what I would do if the parts weren't so hard to find.

TC's sub is great out of the box but remember, we all end up dishing the money for gen inserts, crystals and crowns anyway. Why not spend some money on the Sub C. It's almost half the price of TC's stock watch anyway.

ive found a gen mk3 dial not sure if the price is correct

im in love with the v3 case its scary.its as close to gen as the tc case is to the gen.infact its closer as this has lug engravings

What are your thoughts on the bracelet and clasp engravings?

v2 was awesome, haven't handled the v3 so can't comment.

sufficient definitely,i may use the bp clasp,but ill probably just keep the v3 clasp tbh,as it looks good enough in the great pics our fellow v3 owner posted.the crystal should be changed but i have a gen ar crystal,as i hate the rep ar blue,but for most people stock crystal will be fine

Sounds good, agreed re. gen crystal. Once you've had a gen crystal it's hard to accept a rep one again.

Can't tell from the photos but the UV glue had some serious discrepancies in the V2. Use to give off a rainbow effect as you probably already know. Hopefully the V3 holds up.

Don't know how you to go work with something like that due to be delivered. If I have anything valuable en route I work from home so I can be there for the delivery.

I have a secure box for deliverys. Just forgot to let the initial DHL driver know so he left a card. The wife has nipped in from the office and assured me the watch is "lovely" hahaha
