Thanks man, it did hold up nicely from what I remember but as I mentioned it wasn’t my watch. I guess that the long-term issue with this kind of models would be on the crown mainly..

Was really curious on how to gold plating of these last. Never had a gold plated rep before.

The crown is being used when you wind the watch and the plating might peel off easily or sooner anyway. There is always a risk when you go with a plated rep, you have to decide if you are ready to take the risk or not.. or buy a genuine crown if the plating fails after sometime and replace
