I am considering my next watch conquest and I am torn between the LMPO or the Sub V2. I like them both equally in terms of appearance and each watch has its flaws. However, of the two which do you think is the better choice in terms of quality, accuracy and desirability. In other, if you could only pick one, which would you buy and why?

The sub. Because, well, it's a sub.
Wrist presence, history, looks, you name it!
I do like the size of the po more though.

Get the sub because you will eventually buy one. Why not do it now.

Hahah....that is 100% true. I will probably buy both at donr point, but I am notbready to do that now. That said, i have a hunch there will be plenty if sub v2's available on m2m in the near future. I am really curious to seen how these watches stack up in terms of quality. I love my noon exp2, so I am really hoping that the reviews come back with reports thayvut us equal in quality. :)

Omega, because its actually affordable as gen. People will actually think you have a gen. Among mainstream people which are not into watches, the first that gets through their head, is that rolex you are wearing must be fake.

To be honest, rolex is for very rich people. And if you dont look like a millon bucks from top to bottom, dont wear Rolex. If you have average income and wear rolex, you will look like a retard.

I would get the PO, seems closer to gen for me. And the AR is on another level compared to most reps.

Very true
Very tough two very good watches I think I might go the LMPO next actually

Why don't you ask for the sub if its sold out then the LMPO was meant to be now if neither are sold out...

Go for LMPO anyway lol

I don't think most people are aware of how much watches cost, so the the cost of the gen is not a factor for me. In any case the LMPO sells for almost the same money (maybe a $1000 less) than the sub-c on the preowned market. I am going to wait to see some reviews on the v2 sub before I make any final decisions.

I don't look like a million bucks dude and can often be seen with Jeans and a t-shirts and of course, a submariner on wrist (either my gen sub C or BP). So I must look like a retard?

Thats not an issue for me.
I regularly see douchy-looking fat cats with more money than style wear nice watches, so for me it isn't about what you can pull off as deceit, but whatever you like best!

I'd go with the sub too.
The statement that an average income person can't wear a sub well isn't true at all.

Used subs are just as affordable as any other "toy" or collectors item average income ppl buy..whether it be rims for a car, 4-wheeler, jet ski, etc.
It's just depends on what a person is into and chooses to spend their money on.

I'm sure there are many average income ppl on this forum that easily have a rep collection large enough to buy a gen if they were to decide to sell them.

If you will buy a gen, go buy a sub.
