I have both and both are excellent... If I had to pick my fave though it would be the sd v2..

I find the V5 dial actually quite decent. The print of the coronet is too thin however and I don't like the typical noob markers.

lugs, crown guards, xtal high, thiny reahult, bezel theet .. and imo 6 and 9 markers on dial so large

He just means that for the price, the SD4000 is a great value. You get an outstanding watch. For the same cost, the sub isn't as nice a watch.
