God... Now I'm even more confused.
I received the second set of qc pics, and the lug screws look better now:

BUT! Look at the caseback - the limitation says xxx/700 :wtf:
Shouldn't it be 800?

Is it really noob factory 177n ? Look at the another picture:

Guys please advice. I don't want to be PITA for a dealer but something's wrong here IMO.

And one more picture - maybe I will help you judge if it's noob's 177.

s3….this is a very confusing thread.
I don't know whether you are getting your photos mixed up or what, but I believe your posted QC pics to be from Toro Bravo.
…below is a Toro QC photo from a 390, and the 177 photo you posted in this thread.
I don't think any of the pics you posted are from Angus. I have 3 sets of Puretime QC photos, and they are all the same…but nothing like these.

UPDATE!! My mistake, s3….after re-reading this thread, I see where it was someone else that said their dealer was Angus…and not you.
So sorry :)

Ive never said that I ordered from Angus. PT picture was from their www just for the reference. The dealer is not Sead either. But this is not about the dealer anyway. Its about the watch

I asked the dealer about the 700. This is what he said:
"I just checked all new batch they are 700 now , probably factory made mistake ?"

This is sad :(

Regarding the millesimation, it should be xxx/700 on 176N and xxx/800 on 177N. It seems to be a common thing for the maker to interchange the case backs between these two models. I have a friend with the 176N from noob with an xxx/800 caseback, whereas mine is the correct xxx/700.

Yes millesimation is wrong should be 800. As said by marcogumbo, most likely a caseback of PAM 176N

They probably ran out of 800 casebacks since the 177 is more popular model over the 176. Most common folk wouldn't have caught that.....

Maybe your buddy and s3 can switch case backs….wouldnt this solve the problem?

My Noob 176N just arrived today and first thing I did was to take out the lug screws in order to change the strap. Had some difficulty and here is what I found. Just a heads-up to everyone to perhaps have their dealer remove the screws during QC process to check.
