Noob PAM 177n - lug screws and caseback

Just a short question...
I just received qc pics from my TD on noob's 177N.
I rejected it and now I'm wondering if I did the right thing.
Look - the lugs screws seem to be to short:

I thought that it should look like that:

But then I saw this at InTime website:

And now I'm totally confused.
Please help.

Did you ask about the other side? Sometimes TDs do not screw the lug screws all the way in.

The other side looks fine:

The question is - how it should be. Should the ends of lug screws be visible from the outside like on Puretime's pictures or not like on InTime's pictures.
I don't think it's about the camera angle.

The only one I have seen is on the PAM guide and it looks like a direct side shot. However, I think they look slightly indented on the screwhead side on the photo.

They are fine. I have some aftermarket ones for Panerai 44mm lugs in mine, which are even a little shorter than the Noob ones. The heads of the screws on my 177n and the gens are both recessed in, so it looks like yours have not been tightened up yet.

I agree with Mysterio. Looks like they are not fully screwed in

yes, but it's different watch

The case is the same. And the problem is typical.
But i think you did the right thing with rejecting. Rep makers should really consider improving factory QC. You should get what you're paying for.

Accept it and use springbars instead. That's what I did on all my Panerai watches (including my noob 177) and changing straps has never been so easy :)

They look like normal screws but work even better and there's no need for tubes.

and by the way. I know the 177 is titanium and those are stainless steel sprinbars but you can't tell at all by looking at it ;)

Edit: Make sure you order them in 24mm and you can get cheaper ones on ebay.

Thank you zocker. That's interesting... is it noob's 177n? I'm surprised by the blue AR tint.

On genuine article the screws are flush and flat with the case. I am yet to see a rep that is same way. I have several sets of gen screws and trying them on rep cases is no good, they appear a little longer and I can't screw them all the way in Noob luminor cases. Panatime screws are almost as good as gen and fit the rep cases better than stock rep stuff.

Stuzzy - thank you. I'd rather have proper lug screws from the factory though :)
The question is how it typically look like in latest noob 177n. Not weather the spring-bars are more comfortable than screws or not :)

Hi s3g0y ;)

Yes it´s the Noob 177N it has a light Blue/Purple Tint in the AR but you can´t really notice ;)
The Watch is AMAZING !!!

I like it a lot... But the wight is for some People Crazy :) a SWATCH is Heavyer hehe...

I like the Titan Case, but you can get easily Scratches in it... But it´s same easily to get them out...

All you need is an Rubber (The Blue side)

So we still have two opposite opinions. The lugs screws are fine and that they are to short.
Anybody else bought a 177 lately and can confirm?
Zocker, your 177 is great. It doesn't look noob 177n to me though. The inner shape of crownguard and this purple AR tells me that it's some other factory. Or I'm just wrong.
