Great comprehense write-up on the subject. However I don't see a better finish of the inner part between the lugs on my v4 case in comparison with my v3. Still needs some polishing work to get rid of the machining lines and have a more gen-like appearance. Or maybe I just was unlucky.

However, I'm awaiting QC pics on a new v4 caseset I ordered to update one of my builds (I also asked for caseset with a real v4 CG but I know chances to get one are almost non-existent).
I'll let it know if anything has changed or if I would get an updated CG.

Firstly, we are talking about reps, the consistency is not at all assured. When we talk about the features of a rep we are talking overall with the samples or pics we have seen or touched. In reps you can assure nothing
Besides there was a lot of transition cases between the V3 and the new V4. Indeed we cannot assure that the complete and final V4 has been already released.

Anyway you were a bit unlucky because almost all new cases from all makers have better finish and the inner part of the lugs usually is very clean currently

Basically the insertion of the lugs with the case has improved a lot regarding definition of edges and the placement of the upper part of the lug, that was very close to the cushion shape in V3
The shape of the lugs has been improved too, V3 were a bit fatter
Cushion curved shape has increased a bit too, V3 had flater shape
Overall finish has also improved with better defined and more clean edges and better finish of the inner part between the lugs

Regarding CG we can see almost perfect inner corners and edges ( already seen in some old V3) and more accurate upper visible part of CG pin.

V4 Crown should be "slim"

Bezel and caseback were very good and have no noticeable differences

Maybe in the near future the V4 CG lever will be corrected getting less angled support of the roller. I have seen some PAM 390 Noob lever with correct shape, but few units and some time ago.

I just received these 111 Noob V4 w/incablock mod QC pics from Watch Station, the OP seems to have gotten a lot better compared to some of the previous versions. I'm not sure of the case and crownguard though. I'm hoping that Ale's expert eye can assist me once again.

Yours is the typical False V4 with nice OP engraving and new caseback P-series
V3 case, crown and lever
Anyway case could be a transition model V3 to V4, because the finish of lug contours and lug shape looks nicer than a typical V3

I just received my false V4 111 and I am impressed, this watch screams quality, case finish is impeccable, the manual winding movement is a step forward for a more gen like feel, no more annoying noises form poorly executed rotors. This is a winner.
